I bought this on a whim...had read about niacinamide and was interested to see if I actually COULD reduce the dark spots on my hands. I have naturally dark blonde hair and medium skin tone but burn in the sun and never actually tan. So I've avoided tanning all of my life, but still developed some "age spots" on my hands.I applied this serum twice daily, morning & bedtime and in only 3 days - was amazed that the spots on my hands were lighter. It only improved over time, and my friends were so impressed they all ordered it themselves. Even a guy pilot friend used it on facial dark spots (they get a LOT of UV when flying) and his wife called to tell me that it has made a big difference for him.I began using it on some dark areas on my jawline, and inside of a week I was no longer using makeup to cover them. In fact, they are almost gone.This is a 1 oz bottle, and using it on my face, neck & hands twice daily...I ripped thru the bottle in just under a month. The price is reasonable for monthly use, but I spotted another company's 2 once bottle and ordered that instead.BIG MISTAKE! Not only did the rather spectacular lightening of dark areas stop...they actually began darkening, especially the ones on my hands.Lesson learned: when you find a product that works...stick with it!My DH & I are again using the Gia B3 and have super results: skin tightening, brightening, spots reduced, fine lines greatly reduced and more tightened & firmed facial skin.This is a wonderful serum and I just wish I could put it into my monthly subscribe & save auto shipment!

*Update* It’s now almost June 2020 and I’m still using this nightly. I can not go without it.**I’m amazed. I buy a lot on amazon- a lot, but rarely leave reviews unless an item is so great that I actually want others to benefit, even if that means the price might go up. I wish I had taken before and after photos. I’m late 30s, worshipped the sun as a teen and in my 20s with resulting dark spots all over my face. I also have uneven tone and large pores with some acne marks. I learned about B3 and bought this product after reading reviews on every product amazon offered. I noticed results immediately. One month in and I’m getting compliments on my skin. My spots have cleared up beyond my expectations, my pores are smaller, and my acne larks have faded. What?!! I wish I had known of B3 before all those wasted times using Vit C. This is a miracle product for my combination skin. After my bottle was gone, I bought another brand with the same ingredients, same price, but twice as much product- all I can say is no. I knew immediately it wasn’t the same. It was too thin in consistency and I noticed no results like with this one. Immediately, I rebought this one. Last night put it on my face and woke up with my face looking better and brighter. So now I’m writing to share my joy. I’m stocking up and will buy this brand for life. No joke. My face looks so good!

I tried this product above the others because of the natural ingredients. First I want to say that it really does work. I was only using it one week when my husband asked me at dinner time if I had done something different with my skin lately because it had more of a glow and looked very nice. Wow--was I surprised that he noticed. I will say, however, it does leave your skin a bit sticky, but I think that is the nature of all B3 serums. And I have further found that it depends on where you live with the moisture or dryness of the air/atmosphere. I live in the Bay Area, Northern California, and it's a bit sticky when I use it at night. Therefore, I only use it at night. I don't use it in the day due to wearing a little make up. But I used it in Nevada as I usually do while when visiting my daughter, and it had no sticky effect to it day or night when I used it. But it's higher altitude and dry effect whether winter or summer so there's no sticky feeling on the skin. So I think that is the difference of why some say it's sticky and some say it is not. It depends where you live. I don't care if it has a bit of a sticky feeling at night now that I know it is really working-- it's worth the results. I don't use it for daytime, so it's of not consequence to me about the stickiness. I rinse my face in the morning before putting on my makeup so it doesn't matter if there is still a bit of sticky feeling or not in the morning. I love this stuff and plan to keep on using it.

I've been using this product for about two weeks. After using it, my skin has a glow appears firmer. I have been using another serum for about a year that cost over four times the price of this serum and didn't give me the results that I've already experienced with this serum. I will be ordering this product again!Update-June,21, 2016 I first reviewed this product in March and was thrilled with the results I was having. Well, I've been using it for three months and I am even more impressed! I absolutely LOVE this line of products. I have seen a dramatic improvement in my skin in this short period of time. I have had those lovely "11" lines between my brows since I was in my 30's. This product has softened them and made them less visible. Overall, it's made a big improvement in the firmness and tone of my skin, and erased fine lines I thought I couldn't get rid of. I purchase 2-3 bottles of this product a month, as I use it on my face, neck, chest and hands. I've written and asked them to make a larger size-that's how much I use and love this serum!! I really like the fact that this company is owned and operated by a women. I try to support businesses owned by women as often as possible. Try this serum-you'll be so glad you did!
