Great packaging, worked as advertised

The device read accurately (I assume), but after a week failed to read all together. Even when connecting directly to the vacuum pump. Being new to diagnosing leak issues I was going on the assumption that the unit was reading accurately. It may have been that I never truly had a leak. The frustrating thing was I spent weeks trying to find the leak. Finally I did a pressure test and never saw a drop in pressure. So I attempted a vacuum test and the unit failed to read at all even though the manifold guages showed a good stable vacuum. I would not recommend this as I experienced the same quality issues others in the reviews have experienced.

Confused at first, thought the reading would be 19000 full scale until vacuum went below this reading. Not so, vacuum must be below 19000 microns to start reading digits or you only see dashes. Seems to work great when all connections are tight and pump is working well. Overall good size and unit changes are not a problem.

I would give it zero stars if I could. I was initially impressed with it right out of the box. It looks good, feels like it’s built good. But it won’t hold a vacuum for anything. It will read the vacuum being pulled down below 500 µm, but it won’t hold it under any circumstances for more than 1-2 seconds. Obviously that makes it useless. I’ll be sending this back.

This is a GREAT micron meter. I messed up and had my vacuum pump full my lines with oil and cover the sensor on my micron meter, a little ran alcohol thru the lines to remove the oil, and a little Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner from the auto parts store, and she was good to go!

I received two of these within 4 days. Both items were faulty. They both displayed the same two error codes upon startup indicating a faulty device.

Backlit for the extra see-ability. Case is built to perfection as well. Would love to see more cases like this. Quality done right at every turn. Ty Elitech

I used this to install two heat pumps and it worked well. I like the 3AA batteries, back light and easy usage. The flare fitting is a bit odd for match up to core tools and guage adapters, but easy to make up with tube and a flaring tool. Note that the manufacturer also sells one with an accessory kit which includes a tee and adapter, and that one has a more common hvac gauge fitting if that's your preference.

liked...it came ontime...disliked...didnt work at all...came with batteries in it...what does that tell you...
