Really nice Precision and high quality!
I was trying to use a dual dial but finally had to get a dedicated metric because the SAE needle was always covering the metric one.I originally bought a Fowler (the picture showed bright-yellow) but they changed the dial from bright-yellow like you see, to a drab-brownish orange that requires really bright light and then is still hard to see! This is my first Mitutoyo, and I’m very pleased… 😄

Excellent quality metric caliper
I've had numerous calipers over the years ranging from cheap stamped metal to digital to traditional quality analog. I love this Mitutoyo because it is very fine quality, easy to read and analog (doesn't need batteries). Also, I work in metric when I can (sometimes it's not practical, ugh), so I really like that this is a metric caliper. This was a purchase for my home shop, but I also have a larger custom furniture shop, and I'm getting a set of these for that shop, too. Finally, these are truly value for the money. There are more expensive ones out there, and definitely less expensive ones. But these hit the sweet spot for being excellent professional quality, at a reasonable cost.Very satisfied with all aspects of these calipers!

Legit Mitutoyo
I was concerned about receiving knock offs. These are the genuine deal. I did lube and clean them, just a personal preference. Very accurate and easy to read/use. The starrett version was almost $100 more. Good value

Exactly the top quality you expect from this brand
I have the king size version of these metric dial calipers, and somehow I managed to put them in a place so safe I don't know where they are. So I finally bit the bullet and picked up this normal sized set. They are super easy to adjust to zero, and very accurate. Best of all, there are no batteries to die on me.
