It applies easily, I used a disposable brush. The removes easily with the enclosed scrub pad. I reinstalled the drain briefly the rinse the etchant. The gloves provided were durable and protective. Fumes were minimal easily handled by my painters mask with organic solvent filter ( activated charcoal). The glass enamel steel tub etched perfectly. The new finish adhered well. I do wish I had lightly sanded however since two or three odd artifacts appeared, so I will reapply a finish coat when I get around to it. I definitely recommend this tub enchant.

RECOMMEND:Yes! It will save you significant time (vs. sanding/scouring). I used it on a bathtub repaint project. Unfortunately, the etching is not as strong as I hoped.PROs:• It works. It will etch your bathtub, but don't expect the original glaze to disappear. It will look shiny and scoured at the same time. (Difficult to explain.)• Little-to-no smell. It's super safe to use. There is no lingering odor.CONs:• I wish it would etch a bit more. It will work, but do not expect a miracle.

I followed the instructions I read on-line. Shook it up, opened it slowly, poured it into a container as I was using it on old ceramic fixtures, applied with a small brush, waited 20 minutes and washed them off. Took the shiny off. I will paint them tomorrow.

I purchased this to go with the Bathworks refinishing kit for a 100 year old cast iron wall mount sink I am refinishing. All the products from Bathworks worked as they claimed. I watched their video on line to make sure I followed the direction correctly and my project turned out wonderful. A job well done it looks brand new.

Great product. Some say it's recommended for etching porcelain surfaces, I say it's a MUST. I'm using it on another tub before coating.

I had high hopes or this product, I've tried 80 grit sand paper with a palm sander which was taking forever and did little so I thought I'd give this a try, some of the reviews seemed to have good results. After my second application and letting it stand for almost an hour I can't tell the difference from the test tile to one that's not been touched. I certainly would not recommend this for ceramic tile, don't know if it will work on anything else - very disappointed!!!

It definitely is not a paste it's a water base haven't used it yet but let you know shortly next couple days I'm . Ok I've used it work good.
