looks great, works well fopr price point: mine loses only 20 seconds a week.
I have owned and used this watch for nearly a year. I am very happy with its looks and function for its reasonable price of c. 1/4 k$. It keeps time well within my tolerance: in this case only about 20 seconds loss per week, requiring an adjustment only on a weekly basis for my precision tolerance. If yours is much narrower you may need to go up in price point.

Very nice Green dial-not Gaudi in the least. Keeping great time. A nice looking Sport Watch.
Smitten at first glance, but did my due diligence before ordering. Very nice Watch. I paid a touch over $200 for this very nice Sport Watch, new. No, this is not a "Dive Watch" but they still sell the SKX line. This has kept great time, gaining three or four seconds a day. It would be great if this watch only gains a minute or so a month. Update - 5-25-2020 After about a week this watch's accuracy improved to about 2 seconds fast or slow each day. The third week of ownership showed a 3 second gain for the entire week. Folks that is COSC accuracy. Go figure The bezel and index markers are spot on alignment wise. Just the right amount of Gold Tint on the hands and dials, doesn't stand out at first glance. Setting up the day/date was super easy. Noticing the green bezel is a flat matte finish, very thoughtful for glare reduction. The metal bracelet is not great but not nearly as bad as reviewers let on. The micro-adjuster worked well. Dear Seiko Corp : Any watch you make over $200 should have a Sapphire Crystal. Surely this can be accomplished with your buying or manufacturing power. - Update 08-16-2020 Still lovin' the watch. Still keeping great time within a few seconds a week. Still my most worn watch. It's what I wanted, a nice looking, good performing daily wear watch. Still recommended. Update 09-13-2022 Still my most worn watch. Still keeps good time. The "inferior" Hardlex crystal is devoid of blemishes after 2+ years of 3-4 days of wearing each week. Get to wear the Omega Seamaster every now and then ;-)

Sweet
As many know the SKX was certified for 200m while this is not. I've owned an SKX for years and the closest it's gotten to water is the sink or a pool. I always desired to mod one but never went further than the band. Another critique is that has Hardlex and not a Sapphire. I have watches with both and I've never had an issue so I feel this is a bit overblown as a criticism. Nobody can tell you don't have a Sapphire dial and if you did would you even use it in that situation where you though it may scratch? Further, if you mod an SKX that dive certification is lost and it's anyone's guess what happens when you take it into the water. Seiko appears to have been watching that mod scene grow and these new Seiko 5's are basically them cashing in on that. They have released dozens of different color combinations and dropped the water resistance but they look amazing. Chances are you'll be using the second hand hack and winding mechanism more often than diving 200 meters into the ocean. Sure it's faking a dive watch that falls into the category of fashion watch. The clasp is die cast and the bracelet will produce an occasional tin clank you move about. I just replace the bracelets and they then feel like a high end watch. Seiko is the king of mass produced mechanical watches, so much so that they sneak these movements into higher end watches. Everything that I've said is a minor criticism for a 200 dollar automatic time piece that sells at the same price you'll find a plastic and quartz G-Shock. I'll be purchasing luxury watches going forwards as this completes my budget collection, but I'll continue to wear these as they are exceptional watches. My luxury watches typically make an appearance on special occasions.

Worth a look
Really nice watch, great look. Smooth bezel with good alignment. Great lume, like the 42mm size, plus hack and wind feature. Only feel for slightly more money you can get the prospex line with 20atm and screw down crown with solid end links. Otherwise love it.

Fantastic sport watches unless you need more than 100m WR
Terrific watch. Not just terrific based on the price. This watch is solid, looks great and is keeping near perfect time. I don't even mind that it does not have a screw-down crown. 100m of WR is just fine for me. I have the black & silver model and this green one with gold accents on the dial. The bezel action is very nice and the triangle lines up perfectly at the 12 o'clock marker. The bracelet would be considered cheap because the clasp is just pressed steel and the links are folded but does not feel cheap at all. It's a great fitting bracelet and not noisy at all. I highly recommend these Seiko watches. I like these more than the Seiko SKX. Unless you need more than 100m WR, these make fantastic sport watches.

Great value dive watch
Overall a pretty phenomenal value for a dive watch. But no one who knows watches should be surprised as Seiko Sport watches are almost always great pieces for the money. The lume on the dial is incredibly bright even when it hasn’t been exposed to light recently. Stamped folding clasp with micro adjustment allows for the perfect fit when sizing and the bracelet itself actually has a good weight to it. Power reserve matches and even sometimes exceeds the specifications listed. Clasp does scratch pretty easy but that doesn’t ever bug me because I typically don’t baby my watches in this price range. Overall a fantastic entry level dive watch.

Excellent watch
First “real” watch in a long time. Long time smart watch user. Wanted something more authentic feeling and looking. Rotating bezel a big selling point as I use it for timing my walks, or wait for a drink at a restaurant, breaks at work, etc. Have had it for four months now, holding up well and I am not always easy on stuff. I’ve really enjoyed having it. Goes well with a wide variety of attire. Probably not a black tie type of watch but if it’s the one watch you have, it still does good enough work. Even dirty work like black tie affairs.

デザインが気に入り注文しました。 SEIKO5はシルバーフェイスの物も持っておりますが、ほぼこのグリーンフェイスの物を使っています。自動巻なので1日5秒ほど狂いますが許容範囲のご愛嬌です。

This is a beautiful watch. I’m very happy with it. This is my 4th Seiko watch. My first one was quartz and from 1970. Still works perfectly

The colours of the watch are absolutely stunning. I love the combination of green and rose gold, like a subtle flex reminiscent of the Rolex green, but where a more striking gold might be there is instead rose gold. I haven’t owned the watch for long but so far the accuracy is exactly what you’d expect from this sort of watch, and the same as what is said in the item description. The bracelet is sturdy and does the job, and frankly unless someone got out their nerd glasses and inspected it, it might as well be a $100,000 bracelet. It’s an aluminium bracelet that keeps it on your wrist. It does the job to a tee. There can be a little clicking very occasionally which would be my only minor complaint. The lume is great, tough to go wrong here and if anything it’s a cut above the rest of the watches in this category. At the end of the day it’s a $300 and if you look closely it does show, but to be honest $300 would absolutely not be wasted on this watch and if I had $5k to spend I’d buy this and save the rest. It’s a beautiful watch to compliment your outfit and show off your style. You’d have to pour out a lot of money before you found something that’s obviously better than this. 11/10 value for money but at the end of the day a $300 watch is a $300 watch.
