LASCO 03-4948 Bathtub Drain Elbow with Tiptoe Style Stopper with 1 1/2-Inch PVC Fitting, Chrome Plated

I really like the white plastic elbow, It's quite well made, looks sturdy and appears that it will hold up over a long time. Problem is I received the pop-up drain with a manufacturing defect on the threads as per the photograph, so it's not usable, contacted the seller and waiting for a remedy. Someone had tried to screw the pop-up drain into the white elbow before shipping it to me and it was quite obvious at that time that the threads were deformed as it would not screw in very far at all so obviously whoever did that knew that the product was defective and shipped it anyway, talk about taking money out of your own pocket and throwing it away.

I needed it in a color other then Chrome, so had to purchase color of choice ($30.00 extra) and use parts to replace the chrome.

I bought a cheap drain assembly here on AMZ few days ago expecting that I'd pick up the sch. 40 ell at my local home improvement center. Nope. Not available anywhere, in store or online, including here on AMZ. Strange. So...the ell included in this package is fine and is as expected. The drain assembly however is light weight aluminum - cheaper than cheap. I'll be using this ell with the drain assembly purchased earlier and chucking this one in the recycle bin.
