I was looking for a lipstick to match my natural lip color to make it brighter and slightly shinier, and to soften bright shades of other lipsticks. The 235 Warm Me Up color is perfect for these uses for me. I really like the shape of the lipstick (very pointed tip for precision and sloped side for coverage). It didn't feel like I was smearing tacky pigment on my lips. The lid is robust, so it shouldn't pop off and get lost like other lipstick lids do sometimes. It didn't seem to last the whole day--by the end of the night (9 pm), no pigment came off onto my makeup towel. This was for an application at 9 am, but to be fair, I didn't take any care to keep it from fading after around 1 pm. I'll update when I use it starting at night as well as how long it lasts when mixed with other lipsticks.

I've been looking for this color and having a hard time. My tube was a few years old, no mfg name so I had no idea. Just by luck I looked on my favorite go-to and there it was. Nice mauve color, goes with anything and stays on. Even tho mine was a couple years old, the color is still around and I love it. Easy to put on, great value, look feel on your lips. Highly recommend if you're looking for a mauve color.

I usually prefer Maybelline lipsticks and actually like a sheer bright shade. I knew this was a cream but expected a brighter orange-red. It looks that way online and is a fire red shade. However, it is a drying and pale creamy formula that is a blue tone of red. I suppose it is a classic red, more like Revlon Fire and Ice. I have pale skin with yellow undertones so this was a definite miss for me. But it is very difficult to be sure of a suitable shade unless you are at a department store cosmetics counter with testers and a clerk.In order to use it at all, I must liberally coat my lips with a balm, apply the lipstick, blot it, and use clear gloss over it. Also must change my blush to pink. I usually use a peach tone. I am not thrilled with so much effort for an inexpensive but usually good lipstick.My suggestion to Maybelline: List this shade as a blue-red tone. I find it all but unwearable.

The color and texture is great. This is my 2nd time buying this produuct. Mabelline products work for me!

While on the phone with a representative, I had to reply to their email with product photos of my empty tube. Not bad, process was okay so far I thought. I wasn’t annoyed (but still polite with rep) until I was told they don’t send out a replacement and my options were either to get a coupon to redeem at store or issue refund through paper check in mail in ONE to TWO weeks. I’m not hurting over $6 (it was really a convenience thing to order through Amazon) but now to wait for a paper check in mail and if I don’t want to risk another empty tube from this lot, I need to go to the store. I would have been much happier if they were able to send a replacement.Btw I’ve worn this lipstick before, for years, try it, it’s nice & creamy. Works well as contour or even blush.. but maybe go to the store and save yourself a possible hassle on here haha
