Small spare room. I wanted to draw -- wife wanted to create earrings. We are not professional artists and we didn't want to screw up the look of our little house. A compact non-industrial drafting table was the solution. I could have picked a cheaper one, but those did not look stable enough. This table has 4 real legs. The industrial look was out, and real furniture was not in the budget. For less than $265 incl tax & shipping this r Putting it together wasn't hard, but it needed a bit more strength. The instructions use loose dowels only for alignment. I added some carpenters glue to the dowels. The included screws are small and short. I added about 10 longer screws to provide more support for the framework. Now it is good and solid. My only complaint is a small chip in the veneer top corner.

Once I put the table together its a fairly nice looking and useful but there are a few issues with assembly. The first step requires connecting the legs with a narrow piece of wood. Seemed fairly straight forward task - just slip the piece of wood into the hole put a simple screw in. The problem is that there is no pilot hole in the leg. As I tried to put the screw in I met resistance and the screw actual snapped in half as I tried to force it in. I learned quickly that in order to complete the first step I would have to drill pilot holes first and I also used "real" wood screws instead of the ones provided. Once I did this construction went fairly well. Since I have no plans to ever take the table apart I did glue all the joints that I could. I think this will help in keeping it together for the long term. I also broke one of the bolts that connects the legs to the table. Very easy to do with the very cheap screws and bolts that come with the kit.

Got 3 of these for my kids and they work very well. Kids use them for both homework and for arts and crafts. They are fairly nice to look at and the assembly was not too challenging.

Thje table was easy to assemble- about an hour, worked as advertised , and it looks nice in my home office

Table was received damaged. Unfortunately the damage is to the table top. Quality of construction is poor. Table top is particleboard with laminate edges and top. Because of the particleboard construction, the damage caused the corner to crush. A solid wood table most likely would hold up better. The drawer is very low quality and would most likely come apart after much use. Finish is so so, but not good. Overall, low quality table but sufficient for someone who is happy with a low price.

The pieces look pretty decent in the box, but there are MISTAKES IN THE INSTRUCTIONS and it's impossible to put it together following those instructions. Hours in and still trying to build it. uGH

None of the hardware was in the box. A lot of the screws were specialized - so I would have had to order them from the manufacturer .It was battered and my friend who was goingTo help me put it together said it was better to send it back - luckily I have prime and i sent it back. Ugh !

Horrible quality! The table looked nice once it was all put together but that was after we pretty much rebuilt it ourselves. The table top hinges were broken on arrival and had to be reattached, some of the screws it came with didn't even fit in be holes we had to buy our own and it was missing 1 cap for the bottom of the legs which made the other 3 caps useless! Unless you have carpentry skills don't buy!
