3m Red Dot Monitoring Electrode - Model 2560 - Bag of 50

I was sensitive to the paper ones they provided with my heart monitor. My skin was very itchy and red. I ordered these and they did not cause the same irritation. These are more similar to the gel ones they use in a hospital setting. If you have to wear a monitor for extended periods of time, I highly recommend these. They are not at sticky as the paper ones, but they do hold very well and are much easier to remove. The paper ones were almost impossible to get off and pulled my skin badly. These were comfortable and had much more gel on them.

I bought a heard monitor and it only came with a few sets of sticky connectors. I needed some more and came across these. I was using it on my son at the time and these ones were way better than the ones the heart monitor came with. They were smaller, more comfortable, easier to get off and irritated his skin less. They are super easy to remove too. They are kind of thick and foamy which I think helps for the comfort and removal.

These were good but they are very sticky! My husbands chest was irritated from how sticky they are but it seemed to stay on better during the day.

I have MCAS and reacted horribly to the adhesive on the electrodes provided by my doctor. Red angry skin, open blisters. These electrodes from 3M were much more tolerable. I still got itchy redness, but nothing near the wounds I got from the other ones.

I've been buying this brand for about 10 years. In the past I had to add a little ultrasound gel to the middle of each pad for a better reading. The latest package I received had plenty of gel in the center and the adhesion is also improved. They stick so well now that it's a pain removing them. Which is a good problem to have. I see no room for improvement. They are perfect.
