Chikamasa B-500SL Stainless Steel Grape Care Shears L-Shaped

I have these in coated and not. I keep the coated pair for trimming and the uncoated in the grow room.They are very loose feeling but that means no fatigue. I ha large NFL lineman hands with ample arthritis and no problems. Once you get your groove on with the angle you are flying.

I always have my groceries delivered so don't get to choose produce items. Sometimes the grapes are quite large and in one big tightly packed bunch. It's hard to get regular scissors in there to snip the stem and regular scissors just don't work well on thick stems. So I thought I'd give these a try and I'm glad I did because they do work way better for separating a huge grape bunch. Definitely giving these as Christmas gifts.

I ordered some chikamassa's as they were widely touted as among the best trimming scissors by plant enthusiasts of many types. While there isn't anything *wrong* with these, they aren't living up to their reputation. They seem no more or less comfortable, easy to use, or hold than any of their less respected competitors. I've used them for awhile, and they don't hold any edge any better than any other trimming scissors, nor are they any more or less easy to clean. Honestly, they could be a bit longer and that would improve their functionality.

These are great all around scissors for pruning especially taking cuts. Careful very sharp

These are great trusty garden tools, nice and sharp love the little measuring guide on the side.I like that you can sharpen them to make them last unlike the coated ones that cant be sharpened once they're dull. I wish they had this kind in pink as well :)
