The idea itself is way rad. I got my pair. Very well made. Heavy duty. Seriously. I mean great craftsmanship.I gave three stars because the ropes on this should be about twice as long as they are. If you’re not on a mini cleat you can’t get a good tie.Additionally, Take a look at the tie off points on your boat. If they are all on the same “straight” part of your hull, cool.But, if one of your points is on the straight part and the other on the curved part ... your boat will bang the heck out of the dock. I’m going to order the 30” and see if a mix and match works better for me.

Based on the pictures of this product, I mistakenly got the idea that this tie off would somehow keep your boat away from the dock without having to use bumpers. Not true. It only makes it easier to tie up to a dock without getting out of your boat. You still need to use bumpers. Bumpers were not in the pictures showing a boat tied to a dock or another boat. They still work, but the way I thought they would. I will use them, but I would not have bought them if I was smart enough to realize I would still have to use bumpers to keep my boat from hitting the dock.

Terrible product!! I tied off on my dock and came back and both ropes has ripped off. Thank god I had a safety bow line attached or my boat would have drifted off. I was excited when I tied up by the way it looked and felt but the minimal movement on my small lake and the rope they used completely ripped through.

I like the fact that this product does keep my but boat away from the dark I just have to get used to using them but then when the wind blows I gotta put on the other side so I'm a one man show or 1 Woman show a what are you

I think I would like it. But I didn't notice it only came with one. I went to buy the second one and can't get it now.

This makes docking my Tracker 190tx so much easier!

Great to tie up at the dock and keep it from getting banged up.
