Great Kit!
Another excellent kit from Bandai. I finally finished detailing and painting this kit today and am very happy with it. The model is very detailed but not overly large. Assembly is straightforward and no glue is required though I did glue some areas anyway. I would be very careful about getting primer/paint on any mating areas, pins, slots, etc as the fit is already very tight and any added thickness will make assembly very difficult. I broke both wing spars in assembly due to this paint thickness problem but it didn't affect it much once I glue them back.Since the fit is so tight, be very careful and methodical about assembly, clean off an sprue cut marks and don't assemble anything you want to take apart again. Many of parts are difficult to impossible to pry back off once mated. The kit offers a few variations on how to position and show the model including an open loading bay and two different wing positions. It also comes with a little Han Solo frozen in carbonite which is a nice touch. The cockpit swivels and includes two Boba figures.

Fine details
This model was just what I was looking for. It has the fine details I needed to make it the perfect gift for my model builder. He enjoys air brushing to give it the 'weathered, combat' look. This model permits this in spades!

Must have for a Star Wars fan!
It's Slave 1, what more is there to say on that? Also, the pieces come pre-colored (I did paint mine for more detail) and most snap into place very well (although I did use glue just to make sure it stayed secure). Lots of details for the scale and it can be positioned either standing (in flight) or landing. Really nice and am looking forward to working on some of the companies other Star Wars models.

Totally awesome !
Again Bandai has made a masterpiece , it’s not a snap together but there is no need for glue on any of the pieces & it’s extremely detailed with no imperfections. Only the real model from the Star Wars movie could compete with this kit & it would still be a close call. So far every Bandai Star Wars Kit I’ve got has been of this Quality. Bandai is the (platinum standard) for model kits

Another quality Bandai product
Careful with the side airfoils is they will break easily on some of the small parts

Movie Accurate Model
My daughter got my the Bandai Boba Fett kit for Christmas last year, and I loved it. So, naturally, I wanted his ship. This is such a great kit. Lots of pieces, and all are detailed to the Nth degree, and movie accurate. The model is molded in colored plastic, and to get it looking like the movies, you will need to paint it. The instructions give you a full spread of color pics so you can replicate the standard paint job.If you're looking for a great kit, anything Bandai makes is top notch, and this one is no exception.

Excellent fitting parts and fun to build! Don't glue part E2
I've put together about 30 or 40 models in my life from a young kid to adult. And this was one of the best if not the best. I was super impressed with the different colored pieces and logic to the assembly. Directions were clear. My only gripe (since I glued pretty much everything except the movable parts) was that part E2 is supposed to be removable so that you can mount the vehicle on the display arm. And it's glued in place now and I can't use the display as intended. Would be nice to have a note for this part or something so it doesn't get glued. Other than that it was really fun to build.

Great ship
I got it for a friend, he loved it as soon as he saw what it was. He had problems building it up because of, "fat fingers" and may or may not have broken about one up to two little pieces (nothing glue cannot fix lol) so keep in mind that if you're gifting this to a friend and the person is rather rough, you should really help them build it :) overall it looks lovely, and with a little paint you could make it look as if it was in battle.
