Sorry for the delay in posting my positive review of this coffee canister. However, it took me a long time to select a photo to include here. I tried photographing the canister using different angles, settings, lighting, to no avail. It is what it is, which is... a canister. In my opinion, it has no natural allure. I even asked my cat to pose with it, you know, to give it that warm and fuzzy vibe that online shoppers and Hollywood agents are drawn to. Sadly, Sandy was too busy vomiting on the sofa to participate. So, Percival agreed to pose. (Like he had a choice, right?)And now, on to the canister!It has a very nice look and a hefty, substantial feel, with an attractive finish that is easy to wipe down, as needed. I particularly like the fact that it holds over one pound of coffee, since I generally purchase about 1.5 pounds at time. The air-tight seal is very secure and easy to open/close. Although I don't use the date tracking feature, I can see where that would be handy if you don't make coffee each morning and you wish to ensure that you are not serving your occasional guest a brew that is several month's old. Also, I like the fact that a metal scoop (1/8 cup) was included. As you can see in the photo, I just leave it dangling from one of the hinges. Until Sandy knocks it off.In sum, I am very happy with this canister, and I recommend it. Thanks.

Keeping ground coffee fresh.

Would buy again. The container is sturdy metal comes well packaged and the instructions and cleaning are easy to follow. Holds 4 lbs back of ground and the scoop is stainless as well and works great. The only fault I find is that it's not bigger - Overall 5 Stars

These canisters are very nice for the price. They look great so no problem displaying them on the counter. They hold approximately 1.5 pounds of coffee beans. Perfect size as most of the flavored espresso beans come in 1.5 pound or 1 pound bags. The date wheel is nice as you can set the month and day you put the beans in and this will remind you as to how old your beans are. My only issue is they don't mention anything about the filter for the CO2 valve. Most others have a replaceable filter but this one hardly mentions the valve at all. Since the beans with most likely only be in here for a max of 2 weeks + or - a couple of days, this isn't really much of an issue. Just strange.

I had this canister since early 2020 and the valve filters only need to be changed every 8 to 12 months which is I like. The dials of month and day can be used for when you put the coffee veans/ground in to track freshness, but I use the date/day to track when I put a fresh filter in, so, I know when is the next change is.I have a favorite coffee that I love, and having that fresh smell every time I open the canister is wonderful every morning.You can buy the filters compatible with this container.

I bought 2 of these for the counter since we like a variety of fresh coffee in the house. So far these canisters have been working great. I have not had any airtight issues like some others have mentioned. Our coffee has also been very fresh since using the canisters. For the price these work really good and look nice.

Seems very sturdy+we like it a lot. One question we couldn't find if anyone out there knows- what is the point of the 2 dials on top? One you turn up till 31 other is a dial like a clock We don't plan on using but it made us wonder. Otherwise I think it will be an excellent purchase

Helps me keep my 16 oz of fresh from the growers super dry and ready for that perfect cup of coffee.
