Best overhead magnifier.
Simply the best head mounted magnifier. I've own 10 sets over the past 25 years. Unlike the visor type magnifier, these do not block overhead light. The ample work distance allows for comfortable all day use on the precision soldering workstation. I keep different pairs around with different magnification power.

Great for reading fine print, seeing splinters, etc
Do you need to see details in something small, these are great! My husband and my eyes are not what they use to be, and some print on pill bottles, etc. are so small you can’t read it. Well now we can. We have several pairs in multiple places. Highly recommend.

5 stars for the magnifier! Negative 10 for the case.
This magnifying headset is the best $17 I've spent in years. It's lightweight (I have found myself wandering around the house, having forgotten I'm still wearing it!), eyeglasses-friendly, and work perfectly. After wrestling with standalone magnifiers that were never quite in the right place, I took a chance on these--and they're brilliant. It took a couple of days of needlework to get accustomed to the small field of view, but now I don't even notice it. The magnification is always exactly where you're looking, and the angle is adjustable, so you can put the viewer in the right spot to look through the magnifier at your needlework, and over the magnifier at the chart (or TV). | HOWEVER. The plastic clamshell case it comes in is such a nuisance. The device feels a little bit fragile, like it needs to be kept in a protective case when not being worn (lest it be smashed or scratched by your scissors in your work bag), and it's nice having several lenses available... but every time you open the case, everything falls right out, and there's no easy way to keep everything in place. Treat yourself to this fantastic, inexpensive little tool--but also invest in a better thing to store it in.

Perfect for cross stitch
I recently started a cross stitch project on 25 count fabric and quickly discovered that 25 count was a lot harder on the eyes than 18 count. I tried a couple other types of magnifiers before this one, the kind that hangs around your neck and a clip on one but they had too much movement for me, I kept feeling motion sick while trying to use them. I had resisted the idea of this magnifier at first because I thought it looked ridiculous and because it seemed overpriced for what it is. I still think it’s overpriced but it works perfectly for me and I also like that the magnifying glass is lower than my eyeglasses so I can stitch and watch movies at the same time without having to constantly move the magnifier out of the way.

Game changer for my cross stitch. There aren’t enough stars for these
Actually have single focus RX glasses for my cross stitch. Ah the good ole days when I could see any count fabric😢 are long gone. I started a new project on 32 count fabric and was just not seeing it well, even over two strands. With my stitching glasses, so I was using magnifying lamp, drove me nuts as was having to constantly move it. Tried clip on magnifiers which did not work at ALL, almost motion sick🤯. Had seen another stitcher using these on flosstube so I gave they a go. GAME CHANGER I use my regular rx glasses with the 2x lens and everything is crystal clear on the higher count fabric. Will be getting me a spare pair soon, just in case👀

They are OK - NOT
OK but not great. Going to order the higher power lenses to see if they will do a better job reading measuring devices less then 1/16". As they are with my mediocre close vision, need all the help I can get. Measure 2x, cut 1x but these still are measure 3x before the cut but better then a hand held magnifier.OK - an update! These are just better then useless. The magnification highest value might be 1.5X and for my workshop needs - useless so they went to the landfill. I still need some shop magnifiers but they wont be this brand and probably not from AMAZON as junk is .... still junk.
