Amazing color and bathroom staining abilities
I've used Manic Panic for three years but was getting tired of their color selections and mixing colors never resulted in what I wanted so I did some searching and decided to try La Riche. I bought the Dark Tulip and I absolutely love it! I have medium blonde hair that I bleached then applied the dye. The roots where I had just bleached were more of a bright pink and the middle/ends where it was previously bleached are a darker shade, like a deep cherry. I didn't have any difficulties applying it, the consistency is much like Manic Panic. I thought it was interesting though that it said it only needed to be left on for 15 minutes. I'm used to the longer times of Manic Panic so I didn't fully believe 15 minutes was enough. I probably left it on for about 25.The only con so far is how long it's taking to rinse out of my hair. I bleached my roots Tuesday. Dyed it Wednesday. It is so hot outside and I was sweating pink (which happens with Manic Panic too at first) so Thursday I sat in the shower for 10-15 minutes with my head forward just rinsing my hair and I am still sweating pink on Friday. Like I've said, I've been dying my hair for three years and I take precautions to not get dye all over the bathroom but let me tell you, this got everywhere. It stains almost instantly. Just rinsing my gloves off in the sink, any drop of diluted dye water left a stain even when I washed it away immediately. My tub is pink. I have NEVER had this happen before. I have an outdoor wedding tomorrow, I need this to stop!I'll update later when it starts to fade.

Lasted well, faded beautifully
I have medium brown hair with natural highlights and did not bleach it. This still made my hair quite red (the natural highlights in my hair went super super red, so if you're blonde, it'll be very red). I used this for Halloween and actually wanted it to wash out. 3 weeks later, with absolutely no appropriate "color care", my hair is still pretty red. It wasn't *quite* a natural shade on me when it was freshly dyed, still a little on the purple-ish side of burgundy, but I got a lot of compliments on it. The braid is right after I dyed it. The Gamora/Groot photo is a few days later, and the Maleficent picture is over a week later. The fade has been pretty natural, but the blonde parts of my hair have been really holding the color. If you *want* it to wash out, manic panic is probably a better route to go, but if you want to play with red without an urgent desire to have it out, this was a fairly natural red that holds longer than manic panic and faded beautifully/true to color. It will definitely last a long time with proper color care.

I LOVE This Dye!
I've been wanting pink hair for a long time. Since I have dark hair, I went to the salon to get it professionally done. Unfortunately, the professional color didn't last longer than a month. My friend recommended La Riche to me, and I initially tried "Carnation Pink", but it was too pastel for me, and it didn't last for very long (my hair doesn't hold light colors very well).I decided to go bold with "Cerise", and I love it! I redyed my (professionally lightened) hair ten days ago and have washed it three times. There's been a little bit of dye on my pillow, but other than that, it's got great staying power. In the pictures: Hair loose is Day 2 of the dye job. Hair braided is Day 10 (today) of the dye job.Give La Riche New Directions a try if you want bold, beautiful hair.

I accidentally spilled like 1/4 of this on the floor and it sure ...
I think royal purple is more accurate. These tubs are so tiiiiiny, luckily plum is a strong color so it can be diluted. I accidentally spilled like 1/4 of this on the floor and it sure did stain well! I used probably 1/2 a full container (I didn't measure and like I said, I spilled some) diluted with a lot of silicone free conditioner on my shoulder length bleached hair and it came out a really rich and deep color. I ended up with a lot of blue streaks too and eventually it faded to a lovely baby blue. I would recommend this if you're looking for a dark blue based purple.

best damn hair dye around
you just can't go wrong with la riche. I am known for having bright blue hair all year long. I touch up my blue once or twice a year. that's all it takes. other than my roots of course. wash my hair once a week and the blue stays and fades to a lighter blue shade, not a yucky purple or green like most brands *ahem* manic panic. ewww. sorry.it helps to dye on freshly bleached hair. the colour will stick on forever. I touched up my blue after a year over the old faded blue and it faded twice as fast compared when I dyed on freshly bleached, so keep that in mind if you want that forever blue!

Awful! The color was to be purple and turned my hair blue! The company didn’t care and did nothing to help meFix it or refund me. Buyer beware

I love this dye
I've always wanted to be a natural red head but not the kind salons give you, but that true orange red color. Most of the oranges I've tried over the years look red or fade to red but I purposely bought this because a girl I saw who used it, when it faded turned to a beautiful color. I've had my hair dyed enough for really visible roots and it's still pretty orange! It's getting close to where I want it. I plan on buying this again and again! One last bit, I have fairly thin hair and it comes right past my shoulders and I ended up slathering on a whole jar. If your hair is shoulder length and thick you shouldn't have a problem but anything beyond that I'd seek a second jar.
