BestEquip Chamber Vacuum Sealer - Highly Efficient Stainless Steel Bag Sealer Machine

I've had my eye on a chamber vac for a couple of years but could never justify the cost. Recently my "regular" style sealer died, and at the same time I discovered this model that seemed worryingly cheap.It works AMAZINGLY well, feels very solid, and I end up using it way more than I expected. Coffee beans, soups, leftovers, fish and meat, veggies, herbs, compressed watermelon ... endless uses for this thing, I love it.It's been working flawlessly every days for about six months.

I have had this machine for about 2 years with no issues. Machine arrived in a large box with some light travel wear but no damage. It weighs about 80 or 90 lb packed and is maybe 50 lbs + as it sits on the counter. It needs a permanent spot or cart with wheels.This uses an oil filled vacuum pump and must be filled with the supplied oil 1/2 to 3/4 full on the pump site glass before first use. Skip this step and don’t be surprised if you have working or longevity issues.Oil changes are a maintenance item. I changed mine after the first 100 bags or so to flush out any manufacturing junk. After that just check level and oil color through the sight glass and change per a far longer schedule suggested in manual. I might use 1000 bags after first change.Some have reviewed that the edges of the metal panels are sharp, THEY ARE. As one reviewer suggested 10 or 15 minutes with a fine small flat file one time and all sharp edges are taken care of.I have used mostly 8x12 and 11x13 bags with success and can be purchased in 100 or larger packs. For smaller bags I cut the 11x13 in half and create a closer on the cut off by running a 1 sec vac cycle. These are perfect for 2-3 hotdogs when you buy a bulk box.Liquids can be sealed but should be cooled before sealing. Liquids will boil at room temperature under sealing vacuum and make a mess inside the machine. If cooled we regularly seal meats with marinade or some sauces.The chamber size is large enough for our use but will not fit a Masson jar under the cover bulge, it’s to low.For useMake your settings we stayed close to defaults.Set bag in machine with about 3/8 to a 1/4 inch of bag past the seal bar. ( open end of the bag must be inside the chamber and not extend into the lid seal.)Lower the locator bar to hold the bag in place and flat without wrinkles across the seal bar. (Make sure the area to be heat sealed is free from packed food or liquid material.)Press the start button while applying light pressure to the chamber cover. Once vacuum registers on the gage you can let go.Wait for cycle to complete.We have used other non chamber seal machines that do work but found them to be more finicky and special bags are far more expensive.Overall I would recommend this unit as it has just worked with no issue. It does not get heavy use but has never failed to seal items we placed in it.

I was a little hesitant with reading mixed reviews but I pulled the trigger anyways. As others have reviewed, yes the edges can be a little sharp if you're not careful but IMO it is a solid machine. It works well for the short time I have had it. It may not be a $1,000 VacMaster but it works fine for me. These are about #40 and a little big for the kitchen counter. I use a kitchen utility cart to keep it stowed away in the corner and just push it to where I need it to pack & vac food as needed. Recommend it.

Used quite a bit of oil.

I tried two different types of commercial grade vacuum seal bags on this device. The first time I ever used it it sealed properly. The second time I used it directly after the first it began burning holes in the bag. it developed black spots on the heat strip by the third time I ever used it due to burning. the heat strip does not distribute heat evenly and has hotspots which result in holes. Don’t buy this. They need to work on the design. also, it is a pain to return. This is from a professional chef by the way.

My wife and I love this machine. It is so nice to buy the inexpensive vacuum chamber style food saver bags and only pay a few pennies for them Vs. the suction type of Food saver bags. This machine has been super reliable and very easy to use.We vacuum seal everything now that it's actually economical.The instructions are ridiculously bad. They are so bad that as a joke, we actually hand them to people and ask them to "help us out" by reading the instructions to us. It is quite funny to watch them try to read the instructions.There is a reviewer on here that posted what you need to know, so that's no big deal.

I had the old food saver type vacuum savers for the last decade. They worked, and I thought it was great. Now that I ordered and used this, I could never go back. This seals your food in a back, and gets ALL of the air out. Plus, the bags can be ordered in various thicknesses, and you can put in a marinating juice for the meat and still be able to seal it.Hands down the best device I bought for storing food.

Before mentioning the product I think its important to know about the company you're buying from and WOW do they go above and beyond and stand behind their products!! The next time I need something I will check to see if they carry it.The product itself is large and I have a small home, its worth every square inch it takes up, its quick, easy, and hands free!! I use it to freeze soups which means they can lay flat in my freezer taking up less room, fiddleheads which get a good seal unlike the typical vac sealers that end up with water on the seal line letting in air and causing freezer burn. I honestly took food out of my freezer to show company last night just how well it worked. Now I'm excited for summer veg so I have lots more to freeze

This machine works very well. The manual is pretty much pointless (go with the default panel settings). Great value for money.Quick guide (so you do not need to search out the information).1. There is a screw in the rear, remove that with the provided allen key.2. the entire thing swings up, towards the front.3. Unscrew the black cylinder (filter) from the oil pump on the right.4. Fill it with the provided oil, to 3/4 of the way full (no more). It takes a fair bit of oil.5. Screw the filter back on.6. Close it up and put that screw back in place (the heating bar may have shifted - put it back on its polls).7. When operating, you need to press down on the front of the lid, until the needle starts to move.

De buen tamaño y uso muy fácil único detalle se tiene que ayudar a la tapa haciendo un poco de presión los primeros 3 segundos para que inicie el Vacío sellado muy bueno lo he usado en un día en 100 bolsas y sin problemas
