I was using a much more expensive volumizer and decided to try this because I have always been pleased with It's a 10 brand. It did not disappoint. It works better than what I was using (Caviar), has better hold, and seems to help protect against heat damage better. It also has a scent that is very pleasant and not too strong. Works perfectly with my hair dryer/round brush combo, and about 1/3 the price of what I've been using. Leaves my hair soft and manageable too!

I should have known it was going to be a problem when, immediately after spraying it on my hair, I smelled alcohol and, upon checking the "ingredients", I saw that alcohol was listed first. Now, I don't know a ton about hair care but I'm pretty sure alcohol is not great for your hair...unless you like hair so dry that a stiff wind could cause it to burst into flames, like dry tinder in a forest. At this point, you are probably wondering why I gave this abomination even 3 stars. Well, despite how horrible it made my hair feel -- not only dry but so dense that I had a hard time running my fingers through it -- it did, in fact, do what it said it would, i.e. it gave it a lot of volume. On the other hand, if all you want is volume, you could simply pour glue into your hair and then blow dry it upside down: tons of volume for a lot less than this little can cost. Plus, with glue, you might get more shine. Not only did the spray dry my hair out, but it looked quite dull and frizzy. In other words, it's like having a hot, humid day in a spray can. Thanks, guys, but I can get that for free here on the eastern seaboard from May thru September.

If you have thin or thinning hair, this product is a game changer!! I use it everyday before blow drying my hair! It does everything it promises! This is my 2nd bottle and I love it!! Smells fresh, not perfumey, adds the volume I need to hide my thinning hair! It's definitely a 10 !!

If you’re a black hair black girl with an Afro hair, any kind of type CRV or whatever don’t use it it won’t work on our type of hair is it make my hair super sticky to each other I couldn’t even blow dry my hair nothing so it’s my worst purchase ever

I have fine, thin hair. I have tried a variety of mousse for my hair type and mine deliver the way this one does. It is light weight and adds just the right amount of volume and texture.

Volumizes, isn't sticky or flaky. This was who love and try different hair products know that this is actually quite a tall order. There are so many products that don't deliver. The only issue I think others should know about is the scent is nice but so strong. I wear perfume every day, I don't need a hair product clashing with it. I'm not sure I'll repurchase as Paul Mitchell Hot Off The Press does as well a job and has far less added scent. I will use Blow Dry Volumizer up, though.
