Igzyz DIY WiFi Spy Camera

It is a great product I am father of three the little one just about one year old. This is the age when they need 24/7 eye on them especially while sleeping. I am using this to monitor her when I do my office work downstairs. The best thing it is tiny so easily fit any where. A great picture quality. Definitely recommend to others.

Had the camera for about 2 weeks now and since I installed it, it needs to be reset and reinstalled every 2-3 days. If you plan on hiding the camera don’t do it as you will need access to it very often. I bought the cloud services as normally not much you can do with the camera without cloud service as it doesn’t allow to even download video from the sd card without cloud services. After the I bought cloud services I had to reinstall the camera again in a few days as it was not connectable. However I have now lost the 3 months worth of cloud service and I’m back to square one having a useless piece of crap instead of a working system which otherwise would work brilliantly. No customer services to contact with issues either so I guess it will be a return to Amazon and a chargeback on services that I didn’t receive. This camera has no true 4K mode as you get the exact same image no matter if you select 1080p or 4K.

I purchased this item in order to discretely place in my polytunnel to track rodents and get motion alarms if something is sneaking in. I’ll start off by saying that this is one of the best micro cameras I’ve seen when it comes to picture quality and functionality. The WiFi feature is great, app interface is excellent, motion alarms are brilliant. It’s tiny, it’s portable, it’s versatile. However my biggest issue with this is the battery. I wouldn’t recommend this product if you’re planning to use it via battery power. I have done multiple tests fully charged, and I’d say I’ve gotten about 15-20min record time, maybe an hour overall and then it dies. Maybe it’s because the unit is constantly connected to the WiFi, I’m not sure. But it definitely doesn’t last 7 hours as quoted in the ad. I’ll have to explore how well it does when a power bank is fueling it. And ultimately for my use, I’ll have to install a power outlet outside if I want to use it for its original purpose. Bottom line? If you’re looking to keep it connected to power, then this camera is top notch and I highly recommend. If you want portability and expect it to last 7 hours, this isn’t the camera for you. You’d be lucky to get 30 min. My question for the seller/manufacturer: is there a larger power source or replacement batteries? Maybe a spare battery or two that can be charging while camera is running? Is my battery faulty?

The equipment itself is very versatile and can be hidden in many locations. However, the recording and playback functionality does not work at all. I have tried with cloud recording and with a MicroSD and while they appear to record, I can only see thumbnails for the recording time, when I try to navigate through the recording it's just a black screen saying no recording for this timeframe

Works better than expected. I got this to keep in my shed incase anyone tries to steal my bike. Works well, battery lasts a long time also.

App is well, works better than most I used. Picture quality is fine 720p - if we are talking here about true quality. On phone its ok to watch, even as live preview. Battery live atm after couple months indeed hold 6,5h with is nice. My problem now is, device somehow have critical error and didn't see lens. Video files are all corrupted (last 6h recording session was one big list or .corrupted ). reboot didn't work, new sdcard didn't work, card format, didnt work. I think device is dead - I could order second and have battery to cold swap, with is really nice. I enjoy that product but with to not share my gps localization during parring (I might think its used somehow to track and connect remotely to unsecured routers - they ask of course to give login and pass to your router right? ). Better video quality (wasn't bad, but i would not call it 1080p) and of course...to live longer

Camera is great the first few times when it works. I’ll give some context: Bought 3 they all lasted one or two usages across different locations. Problems across multiple devices are: reception of WiFi signal to connect it to the cloud, even when next to the router doesn’t work. Secondly the battery was able to recharge it once, after that didn’t recharge anymore, so couldn’t use the camera without battery. Thirdly doesn’t connect through AP connection with my phone anymore across all the devices… so completely useless. Forth the SD card is recognised then able to use it one time and then doesn’t store anything anymore - on all devices.

Having tried several other cameras similar to this I can truly say this is the best with none of the interferance noise issues I had eventually with the others. Excellent little camera to keep an eye on what's presious to you.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi je dois obligatoirement utiliser mon Wi-Fi et non le Bluetooth pour me connecter. Et surtout, c’est quoi ce bordel où je dois activer la localisation pour utiliser ma caméra, alors que je suis déjà connecté ? C’est d’une stupidité sans nom. Je n’ai jamais autant regretté un achat. En plus, il est impossible d’éteindre ou d’allumer la caméra quand on veut. Et c’est quoi encore ce problème avec le nom du Wi-Fi proposé impossible à changer ? Ah oui, bien sûr, ce ne serait pas “marrant” si absolument tout le monde ne pouvait pas se connecter à ta caméra allumée… Aucune protection de ce côté-là. Produit absolument à éviter : une vraie daube.

Pacco arrivato in tempi brevissimi. Una bella confezione dove dentro troviamo la telecamera, alcuni accessori per nascondere la lente, un piccolo pacco batterie e le istruzioni multilingue compreso l italiano. Tramite QR Code si scarica la sua App sul cellulare e si inizia una facile configurazione guidata. Terminata la configurazione sono rimasto colpito dalla risoluzione delle immagini e della qualità buona anche in caso di scarsa illuminazione. Si puo attivare la rilevazione del movimento...! Buona anche la portata della antenna che permette alla camera di collegarsi al wifi domestico. Non ne sono sicuro, ma credo che arrivi almeno a una ventina di metri dal router. Non si può utilizzare all aperto se non la si protegge adeguatamente contro le intemperie. Un ottimo prodotto, versatile, molto piccolo e facile da nascondere. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. La consiglio.

La compré para vigilar una plaza de garaje que tengo alquilada, porque continuamente me encuentro con cosas que tengo que un armario revueltas y necesitaba algo que fuese bastante disimulado. Esta cámara ocupa relativamente poco, por lo que se esconde de forma sencilla. El mayor volumen lo ponen la batería y la caja de control, de unos 4 y 8cm de largo por 2 de ancho, que tampoco ha sido un problema en mi caso pues los he colocado tras el armario. La configuración muy sencilla: descargar una app, conectarse a la WiFi que genera directamente la cámara (tiene AP (punto de acceso)) y si se quiere, unirla a una red WiFi como la que genera tu router, todo muy sencillo y rápido. Su ventaja adicional es que unida a un red WiFi con conexión a Internet se convierte en una cámara IP y puedes visualizarla desde cualquier sitio. La calidad de audio es bastante buena, la de imagen, aunque ponga 1080, yo creo que no llega, es bastante pixelada, diría que quizá 720p nativos, pero aun así se ve bien. La batería dura unas 9 horas en total, en modo de trabajo continuo y sin tarjeta SD (visualizando y grabando desde el móvil), por lo que no está nada mal y, además, es sencillo reemplazar la batería que trae por una fuente de alimentación continua para adaptarlo a un enchufe, por ejemplo. La detección de movimiento, regulable en sensibilidad, funciona bastante bien y permite recibir alertas cuando detecta algo, indispensable para no estar pendiente de la cámara todo el día o grabar por grabar. No tiene visión nocturna, aunque tiene un modo especial noche que he probado con emisores de IR y funciona bastante bien, pero al no venir de serie con la cámara, no cabe evaluar aquí. En definitiva, una cámara espía decente, pequeña, con múltiples cabezales para ocular la lente y con la ventaja de que puede funcionar tanto como cámara IP como AP, por si no tienes una red WiFi cerca.

Received it today, but after a few hours it just died , power isn’t the issue , light is on but , app says it’s offline, tried to reset but no help , waste of money and I’ll be returning it . Don’t this garbage
