LOVE this one. It is made to work, made to last and made to fit a hand AND the hair length I want. The dimensions are: 8.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches I cut my own hair and appreciate the yellow knobby grip zone. The diameter is perfect - because the central core is not huge. Also, Yes, it's plastic & probably nylon(?) Regardless - The last hairbrush I got was wood and the paint started to rub off and then chipped off after I used it on wet hair! This one feels like it will last :) ONE thing I would like to see this mfg do is make THIS hairbrush with a SHORT HANDLE. No more than say 2 inches long so I can switch right to left hand when cutting opposite sides and the back - the present long handle gets in the way and is NOT EASY to use 'upside down'. I suppose I could get another brush, cut the handle off and figure out how to glue it to the top but... Hmmmm. I bet there are other folks who could use a shorter handled brush so Hey - Hair Dough designers - give it a try!

This roll brush goes through my hair without tangling or pulling. The grip makes blow drying my hair easier. The quality is excellent and the design is perfect to help style my pixie cut. I would recommend this brush to anyone with a short hairstyle.

I have short wavy hair with almost 50% gray. This brush slides thru those wiry grays are easy to tame with this brush. Cleans easily with warm water and a comb/

I needed a replacement for another small round brush. It's for my short hair and it works great. Well made, and does a good job. I definitely recommend this brush.
