The belt did not fit. No, I did not food binge - actually lost enough weight such that the last hole on my belts did not hold up my pants. I was risking a case of "over exposure" - not good. These oval punches make the proper hole in leather belts to allow for weight loss. You will have a little extra to tuck under a pants loop. Keep the weight off, you are looking good. After punching 2 holes the belt is too long, treat your new thin body to a new belt.

These work well however after making a few belts, the edges began to bend over, they could be sharpened but may not be worth the effort. High quality punches cost much more. Consider how much you will use these esp, certain size over and over and maybe a higher quality and durability punch set may be justified. Also what you lay your leather on matters. I used a plastic cutting board on a work bench. If you are just starting in the hobby to see if you like it, then these are suitable without breaking the budget. I'm giving 4 stars for those just starting out as your first set.

I got these for adding holes to the secondary market silicone apple watch bands. I have a 45mm watch and if you purchase bands off Amazon, the ones made for the 45mm watch are too big for a lot of women. I bought this punch set to add extra holes the the silicone bands and it works great!! One of the punches is close enough in size to the ones on the apple watch band that you wouldn't notice unless you really looked closely. Now I can buy the bands on Amazon that are too big and make them fit.

They're not that sharp. You have to hit them harder than you do a quality product to get the same result.

Not sure what the other reviews are talking about these tools worked as described punched 3 holes with the same size no bending! no sharpening required! It took me longer to layout my holes than punching them ! I’m sure these tools will last for a very long time

Bought these to punch holes in belt. Have made several belts. Edges tend to bend in when in use on belt material. For the price, you really can't complain. I straightened the edges out and re-sharpened the edges. They work much better now. The factory edge was at a wrong taper, which made the edge too thin. You have to remember this is light gauged metal. steepen the taper more to a 45 degree taper and you will have less problems with the edge giving in on you. I am happy with my order, and knowing the fix to the problem, I will order again.

they come dull so be prepared to sharpen and polish the cutting end. but for this price, thats to be expected. worth every penny
