Gift for grandsons 9 and 11 years old
Instead of bringing my saved coins in, I decided to give them to my grandsons with this "bank". They loved the bank which automatically counts the coins and shows a total in the little window on the jar's lid. It was a great hit! Inside the lid there is a place for 2 batteries which works the "counter".....

Meh...
I was super excited to get this bank b/c I was tired of using my car cup holders for loose change. The package came quickly and was in great condition . However I was disappointed because I found myself having to force coins down the slot and the coin counter was completely inaccurate. I would push a quarter and it counted a nickel, a dime would be a penny, etc. I tried to troubleshoot by changing batteries (each set was new), making sure lid was on correctly, but still no change... frustrating but good for storing change in one place.

Waste of money
I purchased this item for a prize for Christmas game night. It did not work. We tried another set of batteries and still no luck. Because I shopped early, I can not return it. I read the comments posted to see if others had this issue. It appears from comments, that even if I got it to work, it wouldn't have counted change correctly. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Not worth it
Doesn’t read the coins right, hard to work, feels very cheap and easy to break. I just would spend more money on something better if I had the option. Lesson learned.

You get what you pay for.
I gifted this bank for my son. It’s a nice back other than it confused pennies with dimes and vice versa so it’s not as accurate as it could be.

Ok but could be better
Most times it counts a penny as a dime. That's a problem. I just put the penny in and add one cent. Beats the purpose of the jar.

Need some finger muscles
It’s so hard to push coins through slot bought for my grandson. I can barely push coin through slot myself
