I measured just over the lower bounds for Large and ordered, eagerly awaiting the delivery. Well, they arrived and put them on. First impressions, very well made and cut in an anatomically correct way though slightly shorter than I expected. My kneecap had great support and when I flexed my knee or did a squat, these were the first pair I tried that did not bunch up or slide at all!The problem is that within 5 minutes my upper calves started to ache as the bottom of the brace was cutting in deeply. Another two minutes, just standing, the pain became more intense so off they came, leaving a deep red line carved into my calves. Its a shame because these felt great otherwise. Just a slightly more generous bottom circumference or possibly if they were slightly longer the bottom would not have cut in as deeply. Back they go...
