It was easy to install. It functions the way it should. I use them for quick stops so I don't slide to the tank and also when I lean off on turns in the canyons. It catches on my jeans and leather suit easily. And best of all it doesn't rip or damage my pants. I highly recommend. Installed on my 2009 Ducati Hypermotard. People think it came with the motorcycle.

Helps a lot in tight switchbacks when you are stones-on-the-tank, gripping to keep the front down on exits. Looks it came from the factory - nice.

Always love these on my bikes. Transformative to riding experience. Relaxes the need to constantly be searching for knee/leg angles to achieve grip against the tank. Don’t know how much you need it until you have it, or until it’s gone.
