after 3 months the replacement fans seized
I don't really care about the $40,, I would have been happy to pay $100 for fans that would last. It's just such a PITA to replace these fans that I had hoped I would never have to do it again. If you buy these fans, know that you have to buy special replacement tape to seal the fans to the heatsink - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XPDVER2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1You have to remove the entire motherboard to replace these fans, they are buried. And after all that, these replacement fans seized up and squeel like a pig after only 3 months.Very Disappointmented. Other sellers of this fan don't have any reviews so I assume that they are the same quality as these. At least I got to purchase 3 rolls of that tape that I'll never need to use again. The laptop ran great after cleaning and reapplying thermal paste and replacing the fans, I had high hopes that became diappointment.I may purchase an assembled heatsink and fan package to hopefully avoid having to remove the entire mb again, or I may just buy a new laptop with easier to replace fans.

Take photos as you disassemble
Unsure if the old fan failures was the cause of the GPU nvida failure that stopped it from loading on boot up. But the new fans are working fine but now the GPU will not boot up thus the monitor will not default to the Intel chip. I followed the YouTube guide to change the fans. The connectors are tiny and can easy break so use caution. As for the guide you don't have to remove the cooling pipes on the GPU and CPU. You can just flip the mother board over and unplug the fans and remove the 2 don't screws that hold them down. Reassemble you need to 3x check the subwoofer connection hidden by the USB circut board. Always best to use colored sharper to mark where the screws go. Take photos.. Lots on each step. Going to attempt to try to access the bios screen to boot the laptop.Replacing these fans are a pain compared to the previous m17x model. Where you can access the fans without removing the MB.

Check your fan part numbers
They looked like a good quality but they were not going to fit my Alienware M17X R4 from 2014. I didn't know what part numbers I needed until I got these and found a YouTube video showing how to take the backplate off. I can't find my fans for under $40 for 1. I thought this was a great price for what you're getting. There are so many fans for a Alienware laptop you need to know what your part numbers are for them before you order or they might not fit.

WEAR A HEADSET TO USE THESE FANS
They are comically loud; I think it's because there are no controls for different rates of speed so going into bios won't help. It's a real pain cause taking apart an alienware is no fun.

Basically OEM
These are basically OEM and are your best to to for replacements. As my laptop is reaching 8 years old and one was slowing down. Glad I can saw it's got little more life again.
