Great CD.
Not sure what the one guy wanted but the CD had variety. I know you can't keep everybody happy. Choo Choo Mamma was great from a great musician BUT my favorite cover of yours is Brown Sugar by ZZ. You ripped that one to pieces. I bet if you took ZZ's first and second albums and did your own version of those songs and added your own unique road twisted Magic Boy spin on em' that some new people would be saying who the hell is that. Same thing I said when I first heard Texas Flood or Eruption for the first time. Maybe not and I know it's not that simple and this is a review for The Rock House Sessions. So as for the CD I really liked it a lot. Over half blues/rock with drive. Plus the others were all good songs. I never know which ones you actually write except for the obvious. I guess that's the trick. To find the hooks that grab and invade the soul. I think your great Sean beyond words. I've seen you live several times and you are always giving 110%. One time it was like the coldest night ever at Skippers. About 4 years ago and I think it was New Years Eve. Hardly anyone in the audience because most of Florida people are smart enough to stay home when it's below freezing. Except the Elite, like yourself and you just went right on Rocking through the whole set. So I really appreciate you working so hard to keep this music alive. Could be a lost art form in 50 years or so. The older I get the less people are into it. If we just didn't have to get old and die we'd be OK I think. By the way the Healing Ground song was right on time at #3 cause after the first 2 I was looking for a short rope, tall tree. Just joking of course but we do need more songs of Hope also. Hope to see you playing the Crossroads festival soon. (All that was just written only applies if Sean just happens to read it.) Keep on Playing

Sean turns it up yet another notch!
Sean Chambers has been putting out some pretty solid albums these past few years, but this one goes to another level. He's surrounded by some major talent-Reese Wynans, who not only plays on this, but was the producer. And another player-Tom Hambridge plays drums, and is a amazing producer and songwriter adds his golden touch (along with one of the new tunes). There's only three Chambers original tunes on this new one, but there's also new tunes from Gary Nicholson, Tom Hambridge, Kenny Greenburg, and Rick Vito. This along with some choice covers makes for a excellent listener, and was a no-brainer for a CD Pick of the Week on my weekly fm show, Blues Till Noon. Good modern Blues that I hope will please Blues fans, and hopefully help grow the next generation of Blues fans as well. I'm sure I'll draw from this one for years to come. All good tunes on this one, just push play and repeat, and enjoy. I won't recommend any standout tunes, as you should pick those out for yourself. (Please note-the reviews that I write are written without any Artist/label prodding or compensation of any sort-only as a fan of a new effort that I like enough to do this for...)

Great CD.

His guitar playing is very very good. His SRV influence being more dominate than ususal
Another solid outing from Sean Chambers. His guitar playing is very very good. His SRV influence being more dominate than ususal, perhaps due to the production/keyboard playing of former Double Trouble member Reese Wynans. Soulful singing on several cuts, nice cover of Segers' "Come To Popppa." Just three originals from Seans' pen.

ハードロック系のアルバム?
曲によってはAC/DC風もあり、少しハードロックの要素が強い感じがしましす。

Good Album
A good mix of blues and rocked up a little to prevent sleeping, I will probably investigate more of his work in the future. I would be known as a newby when it comes to Sean Chambers, but I was not dissapointed.
