Exceptional Quality + Design
Of all the options out there, I love this winder. Definitely on the pricier side, but well worth it IMHO. My only gripe is that the LED is super bright, but that's not enough of an issue to merit a decrease in rating.

My favorite of 5 different winders
This is a classy looking unit that you will be ok with leaving out on your nightstand. The clip holds the watch better than the Underwood and the way it stops in the correct position makes it better for display. It is very quiet and the settings are right in front easy to change at will.

Beautiful winder!
The finish on this unit is amazing. It looks just great. I agree with the other reviewer that the holders could be easier to put into the winder, but I'm getting the knack of it. Good light helps. This unit is so quiet, and works very well. My only problem is that the LED on the front flashes to let you know it is powered, and in a dark room, at night, the resulting light show is a bother. I have this on the AC adapter, so I don't need confirmation that it is on. A defeat switch for the front panel LED would be most welcome.

Great design, but noisy and poor quality
I had received this item as a gift in the past and wanted to pick up another myself. The design is attractive and the brand has a good reputation. However, this particular unit did not live up to expectations. This unit was quite loud during operation -- much louder than the other units I had received as a gift. Something clearly wrong with the motor. If you are lucky enough to receive a unit which operates per specs, it's a great product. However, I've had about 50% rate of receiving units with good motors vs defective motors. When the motor functions properly, this is a 5 star product, but since the motor is such a key component, it's a 1-star overall for this review.

A stylish, well-made and easy to use watch winder
I purchased one of the Evo winders directly from Rapport. It’s a striking looking winder, a compact and hefty cube with a very nicely finished lacquer exterior, a leather watch holder and a solid metal back. The back is attached with two hand-turned screws, easily removable to reveal space for four C (LR14) batteries. It also can be run using the included AC connection.Contrary to other reviewers, I have found the watch holder very easy to use. It has a rubber ‘grip’ on each side. You simply squeeze the two grips inward to remove and reinsert the holder. There is a spring loaded plate on the back of the holder and a button on the front that screws in and out to hold the plate. You wrap your watch strap around the holder, secure the clasp, and then reinsert the holder by pressing it in while depressing the ‘grips,’ and then let go. It ain’t difficult. I find this system much easier than using the hard rubber cup used to hold a watch in winders like the Orbita models. I’ve tried it with JLC ‘Master’ series and Stowa Flieger models, all with leather straps, with no difficulty. Perhaps there’s an issue with watches on metal ‘bracelets’ - I have none so can’t say.A knob on the back of the cube has settings marked ‘off, soft, medium, strong.’ These correspond with winding cycles 60, 30 and 15 minutes apart. When you turn the winder on, it will oscillate the watch continuously for about ten minutes - enough to get a fully unwound automatic movement fired up again. Then it will go into sleep mode for the length of time you selected, and oscillate for 1 minute at the end of each sleep cycle. The winder is extremely quiet. The tiny green flashing led power indicator doesn’t bother me in the least; and it’s a simple matter to orient your winder where the light won’t be obtrusive if it does trouble you.All told, this is a stylish, well-made and very functional package. I can’t speak to its longevity yet, but it does come with a 2 year warranty.

Stopped working within 6 months
This item stopped working within 6 months. The manufacturer also doesn't respond to my amazon inquiry for a warranty return. Amazon should drop them from their marketplace. This is bad business.
