Extremely Sturdy
This paint spray gun is extremely sturdy! I had the brilliant idea to paint the ceiling, only it’s a popcorn style, plus, it’s pitched (12ft) and I’m 5’3”. I had started out using a roller, which was a huge mistake, obviously! After I had painted a 10x5 foot swath of ceiling, and I was covered in white popcorn pieces, I was exasperated, because now I couldn’t just leave it, I had to continue and finish. Hence, thinking a paint spray gun would be the best option, I did a search on Amazon, and this one came up as having excellent reviews. It arrived quickly, the directions were clear with assembly, and I really appreciated that the nozzles were not plastic and included a variety of sizes. I got started and realized that this brilliant task before me was going to be a whole lot easier with this spray gun! The gun itself has a little heft to it, so holding it up to spray was a workout. I ended up taking a misstep on the ladder, I fell about 4 feet to the ground, and at the same time, the gun flew out of my hands, it bounced off the ladder, the floor and then hit the wall! After I picked myself up off the floor, albeit in pain (messed up my ankle pretty good), I went to check out the gun, and surprisingly, it was intact! The attached paint canister didn’t break off and spill paint everywhere, thankfully. I checked the nozzle, that was fine too. I got back up on the ladder and continued to paint the ceiling, and the gun worked as well as it did out of the box. Impressive! The clean-up wasn’t as bad as I had thought it would be, disassembling it and being able to clean it out was a breeze, and the included brush is super helpful. I used it three more times after the ceiling, and it has functioned perfectly as it has the first time I used it. I get the job done in half the time it would take me to use a roller, especially when it comes to painting trim.

Solid machine with a few suggestions
The last time I bought a sprayer like this was about 20 years ago, so my ability to compare it to other units is non-existent. I bought this to spray a sealer stain on a privacy fence. The multiple nozzles worked well to get the correct spray for the stain. I was pleased with the results. It definitely went faster than rolling it by hand.I ended up buying this sprayer because of the copper nozzles instead of the plastic style found in most sprayers at this price point.I would say there could be a couple of small design changes I would like to see for a novice like myself. The first would be to include some type of small box/bag to hold the different nozzles and parts. Because of their size, the nozzles are easy to lose and for someone who will not use this unit on a regular basis, I know I will end up losing the nozzles and then try to figure out if I can buy replacement nozzles. It would be nice to see a way to store them directly on the tool like a snap-on part. The second would be a larger holding tank. The 32oz tank ran out quickly. I spent more time taking the tank off and refilling it than I actually had to spend spraying. The third design change I think would be helpful would also have to do with the tank. The tube in the tank that feeds the paint/stain up and out of the tank is curved to get into the edges of the tank, but it's fixed to one point. I would like to see this as a more flexible tube with a weighted tip so that the feed tube would always move with gravity no matter which way the sprayer is being held.Overall, I was very pleased with this sprayer and would recommend it to someone who has a small project. Understand the limitations on a unit this size and you will not be upset.

Works well once you get the hang of it.
I have only used this paint sprayer a few times, random small jobs at first and then to paint my stainless steel chain link fence black. Once I got the hang of it, it made painting my fence very easy. The only challenge I experienced was that the paint tank is on the smaller size so I had to stop and refill it often. Which wouldn’t have been a big deal except that I also had to thin out my paint A LOT to get an even output. With my fence project that was actually ok because there was a lot of waste and thinning my paint made the gallon stretch a lot further than it would have if I hadn’t had to thin it out so much. But for all of my other projects thinning out the paint before I can use it is time consuming and means that I will need to apply multiple coats. Overall this sprayer does what it says it will, but know that most paints you use will need to be thinned out.

Easy to set up and use
Worked flawlessly. Ease to set up. Ran the unit continuously for nine hours painting a pipe fence. Easy disassembly to clean. It was a breeze to use. Great value for the price
