Firstly, I’m finding this mix very hard to properly hydrate. Very soon after thoroughly watering it still seems very dry.Also, unfortunately, the plants that I have repotted using this are all now infested with little flies so I’m having to spend more money on sticky traps to try to eliminate the problem.So, I’m not sure that I would recommend this one and I doubt that I will repurchase it.

Always good potting mix

The media could not be loaded. After repotting a couple of plants with this soil I now have an infestation of fungus gnats!! Got lots of house plants and never had this problem before ...please don't buy!! I read some similar reviews but thought I'd take the chance!! Big mistake..

Perfect soil for my spider plants cuttings....

After about a month of using this for my new seedlings, I found mushrooms growing out of my yucca plant which has resulted in trunk rot and also an infestation of fungus gnats. Having checked the open bag, which I sealed and put in a storage area, they are swarming around it (only just found them today), but I have been struggling to get rid of the gnats in the plants. I have lost a seedling which was growing new shoots as the larvae eat the baby plants. And I've also lost my yucca plant. I have had to discard the rest of the bag which still had 2/3 of it left so it was a complete waste of money. I have spent money on fly trays lava-lite and mozzie dunks to no avail. NOT IMPRESSED, THESE SHOULD BE TREATED WITH AN INSECTICIDE OR NEMATODES OF SOMETHING BEFORE PACKAGING. Shame as the compost itself is probably really good but my house is swarming with these little critters.
