This is a must for protecting items in your house during renovations and painting! ~Before~ you start your DIY project, buy this plastic and cover everything you want to keep clean! :)We're re-doing the electrical wiring in our entire house. We are pulling off the drywall on all of our exterior walls so there is lot of drywall dust everywhere! Drywall dust is very fine and coats everything :( On darker items, like Playstation, TV, etc. you can see the dust. On other items you can't see the dust, but if you wipe it with a rag you'll find out that yep, it was covered in drywall dust too.This wrap is great! The roll comes in a rectangular box with a slit on top so you can easily pull out the plastic. The roll contains a lot of plastic so I recommend using very large pieces--this is much better than ending up with a piece of plastic that doesn't completely cover your furniture or electronics. The plastic cuts easily with regular scissors. After you have the piece of plastic you have to unfold it. The plastic is very fine, so grasping the end and pulling the plastic apart is probably the hardest part--but even this is simple.Luckily the plastic is very clingy and easily adheres to everything we've put it over: TV, table, couch, dresser, etc. The plastic is easy to pull back when you need to access an object underneath, and then when you're done it goes right back as a protective covering. On a few items that didn't need to be completely covered, I used painter's tape to make sure the plastic stays in place and the tape adhered to the plastic just fine. The plastic is very thin and lightweight, but no rips or tears so far.We will definitely use this plastic for any future remodeling projects or painting! :)

Sticks really well to a surface, and it's very very cheap. A bit thin, so you have to be careful. I made a huge temporary paint booth inside my garage, so we could paint a truck. I used small strips of cardboard, and a staple gun, to fasten the plastic sheeting to poles and ceiling joists in the garage. I'm buying another roll soon, for another auto paint job.

This is the greatest product.! My husband and I are in the process of having our hardwood floors refinished. The sanding part of that process can cause the biggest mess with dust all over everything - walls, cabinets, furniture, etc. We decided to try the Cling Cover plastic sheeting to protect the inside of our home. It worked great! It is so easy to use and apply. We covered everything! The sheeting is very wide and lightweight, which we love. It easily covered our furniture, from beds, dressers, couches, chairs, plants, our fireplace and more.We could not be more pleased. We highly recommend this product. It’s is so worth the price. I would give it 10 stars if I could!!!!

The reviews for this are excellent, and I was expecting very clingy plastic wrap. It is basically plastic wrap a little thicker but definitely wider than what I use to cover my leftover food. I find it hard to cut by ripping and use scissors instead. It clings less well than my food wrap — I would describe it as a clear plastic garbage bag in sheet form.

I needed to cover a large area during painting a room with a 15 ft. high ceiling. It was used to cover a brick fireplace that is 6 ft high by 18 ft wide. There is a pellet stove insert. My husband was extremely concerned about the new pellet stove. This thin, clingy plastic wrap was perfect for our needs. We taped it in a few areas at the top of the fireplace & cut it to length. Once you finally get it opened & separated it sort of acted like cling wrap for areas to be covered. We also covered the French door & windows. Great stuff at a reasonable price-we would buy again.

I actually bought this to cover my artificial Christmas tree sections while in storage. I have a large 9 foot tree that separates into 4 sections, each being too large to fit into a container. I store them in my basement, and I wanted something to keep dust off of them while in storage. This plastic sheeting is perfect. It's very thin, and the 9 ft width allows a lot of coverage. I also use it to cover some old furniture in the same storage area, for the same reasons. For my use, it's exactly what I needed.
