Samsung ATIV One 5 Style DP515A2G-K02US 21.5-Inch Desktop (White)

I love this desktop. It's sleek, runs all my programs easily and after 8 months have had no issues. I still don't like Windows 8, it seems clunky and slow, and I wish Samsung could find a better way to update their products than their SW program, but as an average user I think it's great. I'm not a gamer and I don't need high speed or tons of storage. I use it for primarily business and do graphic design with Photoshop and Illustrator ( I know, I'm one of the only non-Mac designers out there). It's also great for watching movies. For the price, it is hard to beat.

Pros: Really nice looking all-in-one, would look great in most people's kitchen (what we got it for). Industrial design is nice, if not a little too much plastic, but overall very appealing look and feelCons:Quality control, ours had dead pixels on the screen right out of the box, we returned it mainly because of this.Not user serviceable - was thinking of swapping out the HD for a SSD drive I have, but didn't see any easy way to open case, didn't try.Performance - This PC is way too slow for the money, felt like I stepped back in time 10 years. The PC is loaded with non-standard OEM software and "Improvements" that kill performance, would take hours to uninstall.Samsung messes with standard windows UI - Taskbar in desktop mode is locked down, no pin apps appear, no clock/date, tried for about 30 minutes to fix, but short of uninstalling all Samsung's software, wasn't sure how to fix. This is dumb and annoying. Just want my windows clean, don't want of Samsung's crap-ware. If not for h/w problems (bad pixels) would have tried a clean install of windows to verify performance is just software, but I suspect a very slow HDD as well.Conclusion - other than the great look and feel of the h/w, this is a major step back for Samsung, it's the only All-In-One they offer now and it's underpowered, over-loaded with OEM software, and horrible, just horrible, performance for a modern PC. Should have at least 8gb of RAM and an Intel i5 processor, too bad they don't offer this design with proper horse power.

UPDATE 01/12/24I have had this desktop tablet for a while now and, it’s starting to slow down. I haven’t downloaded anything as, I only wanted this to work on building websites through wix. If I’m using this tablet for more than a hour that’s when it freezes with a black screen, slow down and frequently takes over a minute to shut it off. I’ve also noticed that the fan on the inside never runs. Im having to pay $130 for a computer tech to install more ram, more memory and a new working fan.End of Update (above)Original Review (below)I have been wanting this computer for quite some time, and I found one at a great price. The seller was very kind and responded to my questions very quickly. And also, the seller sent the product to me within a short amount of time. When I received this computer, it was in mint shape and included two keyboards two mouses, one prestige monitor and power cord.At first, I was a little frustrated because I have never registered a Samsung through Microsoft windows. It wasn’t too long that I realized that I could register this computer through the Samsung account that I have set up with my Samsung TVs. Once that was done all I had to do is update the computer, which took a good 4+ hours but, after that, the computer functions, much better when I was done.I give the seller five stars, hands-down for providing exceptional customer service.

Bought this item knowing it had Windows 8. After trying to use Windows 8 we decided to switch back to Windows 7. Found out that this computer was not built to run Windows 7 so we sent it back. I'm sure the computer is fine, but just could not get used to Windows 8. 5 star rating for the supplier because they gave a full refund with no questions asked.

Product is really good. I would recommend this product but there is one downside. The graphics are stunning but the memory is not sufficient to power the graphics and the ram. I had to upgrade my ram to 8gb and now it runs much better. I also bought an solid state drive and put it in the computer which is really making this computer fast. I recommend this product only for someone who is tech savvy.

Even though it was refurbished it was a great deal. Works like ut is brand bew! Glad I caught this deal.

I want you to take a good look at the ports displayed on pictures of this device. Notice the TV port for coaxial? THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT HAVE THE TV PORT. So digging through the product info online I find it is optional (really? I never was offered this option). So I buy this product thinking what I see is what I will get. NO. WRONG. IT DOES NOT HAVE A TV PORT. Totally false advertising and I am pissed off.Update 6/24: Okay so I noticed the product pics are now updated with the proper pics. In regards to the PC, it has been working fine, i'm content with it (still would have liked hooking it up to coaxial for tv). The PC does lags sometimes, not sure if it is a Win8 thing, or RAM. I can still play games on it and everything else. I haven't had any issues with the PC yet so that's good. I'll up this rating to 2 stars since the PC is growing on me.Update 11/6/14: Pixel in the middle of the screen died then came back. I don't even use the touch feature. Bad sign. Hope LCD doesn't fail.

Unit is ok but did not come with operating manual 😁😁
