Expiration date is 9-23-2018, yet I was taken by surprise by how utterly dry this is. When biting into the bread and red bean filling, the filling and bread separated from each other, the bread sort of broke apart in pieces into my mouth, and the filling was so dry, my mouth became dry. Obviously, I'm not describing it very well, but in these sweets, there should be some level of moistness. I was sad, and would not buy these again, at least not online. Maybe the dryness has something to do with the way it is stored.

Granted, having these delivered doesn't really put you in the "freshness" window, these arrived in pretty good condition and tasty. No mold on mine, but the cake and filling can be a bit dry.

Nice flavors but not something I'd order often because of the cost. However awesome treat & great for tea parties.Shipped quickly.

This, i believe, is the best manju i've had so far. The filling is very sweet, so these will go great with some tea, or even coffee, if that's what you're into.

Adorable little snacks, just not too tasty. It has a red bean taste.
