Perfect for electric heaters
Great plug, if you’re plugging in a space heater get this one, 20 amps is huge and won’t heat up or burn out.

Substantial upgrade over Legrand
I replaced my entire home's electrical outlets with Legrand lighted outlets in 2020. By 2023 they were so loose I could hardly keep the vacuum running without wiggling the cord in the majority of them. I've been limping them along until now. If I got a bad batch, I'd never know. But these GE ones are quality. Firm connect with the cords. Easy install. Beefy screws. Awesome price.

Absolutely Heavy Duty
While still configured as 15 Amp receptacles, “Constructed to support 20 Amps” per Mfg,! They are also “Non-Tamper Resistant”! Since they are truly HD, they do NOT have “Push in” (back stabbing) capabilities! This is actually a major plus! Although back stabbing is quicker, it only allows point contact with the conductors while Side Wiring” will allow maximum current to flow through the entire circuit without arcing. I recently replaced a string of 8 “Back Stabbed” receptacles to fix an issue of no power in 2 rooms. I found that the first receptacle had the conductors burnt so badly (due to arcing) that there was no longer any electrical contact. Judging by the amount of carbon in my electrical box, I was surprised that it had NOT burned down my home! This is one of the reasons code now requires AFCI (Arc-Fault Circuit Interrupter) in all new construction. As an older DIYer, I will always use the higher grade “Commercial” and NEVER “Residential” receptacles. To me the cost difference is worth it!
