Defective laptop was returned to seller. No acknowledgment was received although their representative signed for delivery. I contacted Amazon, submitted claim, and was offered A to Z guarantee that the money will be reimbursed if seller does not reply within 2 days. Seller messaged in 4 days asking to delete device from Apple account. I replied right away stating that the laptop arrived with an user account and was not reset to factory settings. Two days letter, the seller again asked to delete device from Apple account. I contacted customer service again which asked me for more time to wait, because the seller insists to send me the laptop so I could delete the Apple account. IT’S NOT MY ACCOUNT! Do you read the messages the clients are sending you?

Here’s why it wasn’t a 5 star, although I almost rated it 5 star. The laptop is pretty immaculate.The keyboard is near immaculate with 2 keys showing slight usage.There was 2 scratches on opposite corners when you close the laptop (expected and totally normal with pre owned equipment so not a problem)It did come with a charger, not an apple charger but it did indeed come with the charger.So great product, the reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because it was dirty. It was a gift for a child I spent an hour cleaning it, the speaker ports have dirt or dust in it still.Anyways much appreciated, it made it to me just fine. 🤝🏼

Minor bruises, dents on the sides and stains on the inside, as expected from a used and refurbished item. It works well, the battery seems to require service, and the charger e generic one was not working, I had to open the up the hole where you plug the usb c cable with a dremmel. It works though.

I liked that this was one of the last with touchscreen bar macbook pro models. The overall operating system was satisfactory quality and acceptable however the built in audio was defective where it would play fine then turn off within 2 minutes then would have to restart it to use the audio again. Another audio speculation was that it would only work when I’d physically open and close the laptop and the audio came back for a minimal amount of time. The battery was also weak to where it was nowhere close to last as it states it should even when being a “refurbished macbook”.
