This is an interesting candy, and the US doesn't make anything quite like it. If you've ever eaten gummies where one part was gummy and the other part was sort of foamy and white, the foamy part is similar to the texture of this candy. Bilar is slightly firmer, though. It's stretchy and doesn't break apart easily. The taste varies slightly between colors, and the white ones left a very very slight burning/tingling sensation in my mouth after eating them. I'm not sure what that was. The pink and green pieces did not. In terms of flavor, Bilar has notes of black licorice and circus peanuts (the orange smushy candy shaped like peanuts). It's a very light fruity flavor, but there's something more that I can't quite place. It's very good. My candy arrived fresh and in a reasonable amount of time given that it was coming from another country. My only complaint is that you can't order a 5 or 10 pack that's a bit more reasonably priced for what you're getting. Still - 20 years ago, this would have been virtually impossible to get in the US without a friend in Europe.

I used to buy this every time I'd visit by best friend in Sweden. She grew up eating it and introduced my kids to it when they were young and they fell in love with it. It used to be sold at IKEA but sadly they stopped selling it. I don't get to Sweden as much as I used to and my son really wanted this for his birthday (he's 20 now - so 14 years he's been eating these). Thankfully, this seller is offering them here and I was able to get him some, he was so happy! They're natural flavored/colored, not messy, sort of the consistency of circus peanuts candy, but have natural fruit flavors (the pink is faintly cherry, the yellow slightly lemon, the green slightly lime), very mild but tasty. They do go stale quickly, so you'll want to eat them as soon as you open them.

These are one of my favorite candies and I cannot believe I can't just run down to Ikea and buy 15 bags of them at a time like I use to and eat 4 of them on the drive home. These are so addicting even for someone like me who is fit and healthy. The candies are white, light mint green, and light pink colors. The texture is a slightly chewy (but not sticky), marshmallow, nougat type. I think the texture is one of the reasons why you can't stop eating them. It's almost sponge like. The flavor is slightly minty but I wouldn't call them mint flavored at all. It's hard to put a flavor on these. They do have a light fruity or citrus like taste but I couldn't tell you which fruit. It's just a very mellow, pleasant flavor.

I’ve order twice now and not only do they arrive very quickly, but are absolutely delicious. Swedish candy has become a huge hit in my household and I am so happy to be able to get my hands on these as I can’t find them in stores near me. 10/10 recommended and will order more!

They have a great taste to them. The texture was a little firmer and seemed to not be as fresh. Almost a little dried out. Would try again

Product is gluten free however after friend getting sick and having to dig online the product is made in a facility that also processes wheat. Other than that they are just as I remember them from living in Sweden.
