I replaced the stock Sennheiser 800s headphone cable with this unit. Observations:-The contstruction quality is obviously an improvement- The overall sensitivity of the headphones are up a significant degree (5db)- The music details seem improved as does extension.A very worthwhile investment

I had to get these as a replacement as the HD820's I bought had the XLR balanced cable yoinked, I almost had a heart attack seeing the LOWEST priced replacement cable from a third party were these. As the title states I was skeptical, but then I swapped out the cables, and my god, this cable really livens up your music, it's hard to explain it but I'm sold on expensive third-party cables being cable of giving you better sound.

Feels great! Very nice cable. Not too thick or cumbersome.

The connector is black, not silver like in the picture and is made in China. I didn't expect that from Sennheiser.

Sounds great with the Zen DAC
