Revolution Fragrance Shave Foam Tri-guard Formula Balancing with Aloe & Vitamin E (1 pack)

I was using gel shave cream with the Shick ST2 Slim Twin Safety razors with vitamin E (12 per package) at the rate of about 5 shaves per razor. My wife (frugal that she is) bought a can of Brut Tri-Guard Formula with Aloe & Vitamin E Balancing Shave Foam – Brut Revolution Fragrance in the 9.5 oz can at the Dollar Store for $1 and gave it to me. I told her I didn’t want her to buy any more that I liked my gel but I tried it anyway and reversed my position (something I hate to do with things she has put in front of me) and asked her to buy some more and stop buying the Gels. I found that I liked the Brut Foam much better for a smooth, low-friction shave with less effort than the gel. I found that I could get 15 shaves per razor with no loss in shaving comfort or capability. I also noticed less nicks - I was using a dab of tissue about 2-3 times a month with the gel (using the same razors) and that reduced to about 1 every 4 months. I’m sold. I tracked my usage over 9 months – about 250 shaves (I had a few days of no shave as most of us do). For the 250 shaves over 9 months, I saved 73% using the Brut Foam over Gels and averaged less than 4 cents/shave as opposed to about 14 cents/shave with the Gels. It feels better, it’s cheaper, it’s a great deal!

Smells great, and is a bit more unique than the typical Gillette/Nivea brands, etc. The one I received didn't lather up as well as the previous Brut shave creams I've used, but I'm going to chalk that up to some anomaly, since I've never had a problem before. I'm quite forgiving if it's a product I really love : )
