This is the second battery replacement for my trusty old Samsung Galaxy Note 9, which is now in my mom’s hands. The original battery had served well for over 4 years but was clearly on its last legs, so I picked up this SHENMZ 7600mAh replacement. Installation was pretty straightforward—the included repair kit had everything needed except a heat gun (which you’ll definitely want for loosening the adhesive). I also opted to use my own quality screwdriver since the ones in the kit weren’t the best, but they’re fine in a pinch. As for the battery itself, it’s still early, but so far it’s holding a charge well and supports fast charging just like the original. It gave this solid old phone a new life, and I’m happy with the results. Will keep an eye on long-term performance, but initial impressions are very positive.

I have an old Galaxy Note 9 which I personally love. It is a great phone and I hated to see it die. After buying a new phone (which I don't like nearly as much) I decided to see how hard it would be to swap the old battery out so I could keep it is a spare. It turns out it is a very easy swap- especially with this particular battery from this particular seller. This "battery" is actually a battery and a whole bunch of specialized tools specifically for this job with a link to an excellent instructional video that walks you through the entire operation from start to finish. If there is one thing that is missing it is a replacement back glass for the Note 9 since I do not think it is possible to open the phone without breaking it (it is VERY fragile and it is glued on firmly). Luckily the back glass is readily available and fairly inexpensive. Do yourself a favor and be sure to order a back glass replacement at the same time you order this battery. Your future self will thank you. The entire swap took less than half an hour but I could probably do it in 10 minutes now that I know what to expect. My old phone looks brand new again and has a battery with almost twice the capacity of the original 4400mAh battery. Be sure to cycle the battery as indicated in the instructions after installing in order to maximize the usable capacity of the battery. If your Note 9 battery has decided to poof up or isn't holding a charge anymore I would highly recommend that you purchase this battery (kit) along with a rear glass replacement and swap it yourself. Does not include a metal pry tool to actually remove the battery. Plastic pry tools bend if used to remove actual battery. Jury is still out if the capacity is actually 7600 mAh.

I would like to add pictures of the process, but the phone that I repaired is my main driver, so I couldn't take any. It has a little difference with the OEM one, because I had to remove a rubber padding that was under the battery at the top part. Other than that, it is a perfect fit. Also, the pull tabs it came with are really thoughtful and useful, because the OEM came glued to the phone and had to apply heat to the screen in order to remove it. So far, so good, it has been approximately two days since installed and it is performing excellent, previously I had to keep my phone connected to keep it charged, now I can use it the whole day without worrying about it powering off. 100% recommended. Edit: After a month or two the battery caused some strange issues. For instance, playing a video at around 15% will shut the phone down abruptly and it just got worse over time. Now I have to keep my phone connected all the time, this one is way worse than OEM.

This replacement battery brought my phone back to life. It holds charge really well and was very easy to install with the included tools. Great value and way cheaper than buying a new phone. Highly recommend for anyone with an aging battery.

This is a great kit, and it does have everything you need to disassemble the phone and replace the battery. The battery did fit. I did remove the small gray rubber strip that supports the factory battery, as another reviewer recommended. This helped the battery fit perfectly in the phone. I am still going through the initial battery cycles, so I cannot comment on battery life just yet. The one thing that is missing from the kit is new adhesive strips for securing the back glass back to the phone. This didn't matter to me, as my back glass was cracked, and I already had a replacement glass (w/adhesive) ready to use. In fact, I would recommend that you go ahead and spend a few extra dollars on a new back glass. The chances of it breaking/chipping during the removal process are pretty good. Best to have a new one on hand and ready to go. They are pretty inexpensive here on Amazon.

My dad's Samsung note9 puffed up and needed the battery replaced. This batteryand tool kit combo was less than half the price I expected to pay. The guitar pick pry tool was all I needed to finish separating the puffed up phone. The new battery came with a 50% charge and after 3 weeks of use it seems to be performing just like the own LiPo. I'm super pleased with this battery and price, we'll definitely buy more as needed!

I should not have taken a chance on this NON oem battery replacement. The sticker label for this battery shows as 5400 mAh, product title shows as 4200 mAh, product description shows as 4000 mAh, and battery application estimates actual capacity to be ~3400 mAh. I have ZERO confidence that this battery is anywhere near 4000 mAh. I will now be sourcing a proper OEM replacement battery, replacing the battery again, and returning this product. For future battery replacement purchases, I will ONLY be buying OEM replacement batteries. For $26.99, this should be an OEM battery kit. Proper price for this kit should be closer to $10 to $15 range.

I followed YouTube person changing their battery. Easy enough process through YouTube. I had no idea what the pink thing was in this package was sticky I used as adhesive to keep battery to phone.

Battery is not 4000mah. Only about 86% capacity at 3500mah.
