I purchased this book primarily for the promise of "Topics include: major and minor scales; modes and other scales...." 43 pages are devoted to the major and minor scales. One-half of one page to modes, with the concluding advice to "Search the library or online for a more complete discussion [of modes]". There is no depth or continuity in this workbook. Unfortunately I marked in it a little so can't return it. There are MUCH better music theory workbooks out there.

Very well thought out. This is great for people who are just learning or need serious review.

Very good book. Arrived very quickly!

This book theory book is too advanced for my students. I was not able to use any part of it. Perhaps I may use it later for a more advanced student.

No reasonable organization. Just jumps. Should include the concepts but it's just mindless stuff. Let me knowif there is a step by step going logically through theory.
