Trem spring upgrade.
For Me they increased tension for better trem function and increased sustain and sparkle. This is probably the least expensive mod for the strat that makes a positive difference in tone. Installed on 1995 custom shop classic with noticeable tonal improvement.Just installed set two on My 1985 MIJ stat.

Totally worth it.
Bought these on a whim to try. I use the term arm for chord vibrato, not much of a diver with it. My old springs were mismatched and stiffer so tuning issues would have to be navigated.Put these on a Strat with broken in strings. They return to pitch, feel smoother and the sustain and tone is clearer. I did have to adjust the claw and bridge height and went from running 4 springs to all 5 with 10.5 gauge strings. It’ll be interesting when I swap back out for 11s.I’m jumping on the bandwagon and Echoing these are totally worth the price.

Pricey but works as advertised.
Kinda pricey but I needed to reduce the tension on my Gotoh 510 tremolo while still using 3 springs. These springs did what I needed but were not cheap.

Will make your Strat sound like is supposed to
I read all the reviews and hype and figured I would take a chance on it since they were only $30.00. I can say is that it improved American Strat with SD pickups 100 percent. Always liked the sound before the new springs but thought something was missing and was just those little springs. Now my Strat sounds bigger fatter and brighter. Positions 2 and 4 are now big and full not thin like before. All I can says that I liked them so much that I just ordered 2 more sets for my other Stratocasters Has to be the best $30.00 that I have ever spent on a guitar upgrade

For the active trem user, a must.
You would think that with all the reviews here saying "I was skeptical but, pleasantly surprised" that I wouldn't have gone in with such skepticism... well, I did. I mean, they're springs for crying out loud! I have a custom warmoth strat with a wilkinson trem that floats within a semi-recessed cavity using a tremol-no system for when I want to block it out. In this particular guitar I had to reduce the amount of string to 2 in order to "pull-up" to the desired intervals (a minor 3rd on the G). This caused a distinct "warble" to the sound, especially when the tremol-no was not engaged. It was also getting to the point where I believe, due to fatigue on the springs, the tremolo was having trouble returning to a 0 point and I'd often find that letting go of the trem would land me either sharp or flat depending on the direction of pull/push.I loaded these in and holy sustain batman! There was so much more substance to the guitar's tone and tuning stability was regained. I went from 2 to 4 springs and it's night and day. I probably could've gotten away with 5 but the tremol-no device takes up a single spring space. I guess I hadn't realized how "hardened" springs had become in modern guitars, and for my money, you really want to have as much connection to the wood as you possibly can. I also recommend, if you're an avid trem user like I am (or even if you're not) to invest in some Big Bends Lil Luber Ultra Nut Sauce Applicator this will GREATLY increase your tuning stability as it reduces the amount of differential tension on either side of the nut. Ya know that high pitched little sounds you sometimes hear from your headstock? Yeah that's your guitar snapping out of tune.

Not to question
This is absolutely one of the best moves you can make for your guitar. If you notice it improves your tone or sustain or resonance, good on you! That’s a hard thing for the average Joe to notice. But…it 💯% improves your tuning and trem stability. No doubt. Been using it for a month now and I can unequivocally say that my guitar stays in tune better and returns to position smoother. I definitely suggest upgrading to these springs.

Best low cost upgrade for a strat
Allows me to have a blocked tremelo on my vintage strat, and because the lesser spring tension the whammy bar is still very usable. This means I don't have the tuning stability issues of a floating tremelo, better sustain because the bridge is up against the wood, and it actually does make the tone a slight bit fatter. Beats the hell out of outright replacing and upgrading the bridge entirely.

Yes... they are better springs
Even if there were little to no tone difference, the feel these springs provide is far smoother then any "stock" springs I have used. I don't buy into hype and I didn't think springs would have an impact, but these do. Are this springs going to improve your playing? Nope not even a little. But they will soften a 5 spring setup significantly without sacrificing stability. Further they do provide a different "tone", I prefer it, but I can see that being very subjective.Certainly worth the price...
