Nice fine powder. Very light smell/taste. I got this to add to my dogs food. My girl got urinary tract infections and was peeing blood! After a second time and after some research, I use this with a combination of other powders (marshmallow root, astragalus root, cranberry & parsley) that is supposed to help with and promote good urinary health. Been using this for 6 months and she hasn't had another UTI since. I also started taking the combo, why not. It's healthy and natural. I mix it in my morning smoothies, doesn't clump, easy to add to liquid and drink. No gritty texture, very smooth.

I bought this for TA-65 which is a compound in astragalus that is shown to increase telomere length. Now how much Ta-65 is in 1 gram of this product? I have no idea. That said you really have to mix it good because it tends to clump. It doesn't taste horrible, but it doesn't taste great either. It's like drinking a hybrid of spinach and asparagus juice.

I've been taking Astragalus for years and now that I have a capsule machine, I cap this up and take daily for my lung health at a lesser cost than if I were buying it already capped up. This way I I don't get any unnecessary added fillers that most capsules have that you buy in bottles.

I bought this to help with liver function, the quality is superb, I noticed nearly an immediate improvement. I encapsulate the powder to make it easier to take and avoid the bitter taste. This herb is a staple in my health routine!

Started taking this astragalus root powder as I'd read online that it could be beneficial if taken along with another product I take. Unfortunately, I had adverse side effects of mild itching to my shoulders, back, abdomen as well as a strong gastrointestinal response, so it definitely did not agree with me.I can't really recommend or not recommend it at this point, but I would suggest doing some practical reading on who should or should not be using it.

This Astragalus tastes right , smells right and looks right. Good price for a quality product.
