First-time buyer. Not sure why other people think the flavor is bad? It's an herbal tea, the flavor is mild like chamomile tea but does not have the same taste, it has a bit of licorice sort of taste. I'm not a black tea drinker and prefer herbal teas, but I can see a black tea drinker thinking this tea a bit weak. An herbal tea drinker that likes the taste of licorice-like my self, loves this tea. I am in remission from Chronic Lyme with multiple co-infections and this is what this tea has done for me after 10 days. 1. Within the first 10-12 hours, it cleared my sinuses, something I wasn't aware I had an issue with. 2. Increased energy the next day and since (I drink it daily). 3. I've been in pre-menopause and had one period the past year, about six months ago. A week in (6 days after I began drinking it) I got my period, I read it's suppose to balance the hormones and clean the blood. 4. Skin is looking better. (but I have a gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, organic and processed food free diet). 5. Calms the nervous system a bit. (Also what really helps me in this regard s NeuroCalm, but I sort of skipped it lately) I've ordered a second box of tea and I love drinking it:) Hope this helps anyone out there that are trying to figure out if this tea is for them. P.S The bag does need to be opened with caution, it's a bit dusty inside, from the root being turned into powder, but that's something that does not bother me.

Read entire review I’m not knocking this tea itself in anyway it’s just a quality of the bag is terrible The only reason that I’m going to give it not five stars. The quality of the bag is horrible I mean horrible. The string comes off it. I have actually had the bag open up on me, but you know that’s happened with other tea too, but it shouldn’t happen with any actually. I only did it once, but I learned my lesson after that. You have to pick it out yourself. There isn’t a lot of tea in there but you wanna know what thank God OK thank god because it is so bold and so flavorful if you like licorice or you’ve got heartburn issues like I do and I like licorice this tea is fantastic. The price is about 1/3 of every other type. I don’t know what it would taste like if you put any more tea in for the bag, but the bag itself is very low quality, but the tea is fantastic. It’s worth it pricewise and to put your fingers in tea for two seconds to pick it out. Just be gentle with it that’s all you have to do. It is one of my favorite teas and it helped so much with my heart burn. You have no idea so for me crowing about a cheap bag people say I guess you get what you pay for it well in my opinion the good so outweighs the bad it is so worth it. And I will continue to by the tea because it is absolutely the cheapest price I’ve ever seen on any licorice tea key go look it up and I can’t find licorice in store. Nobody stocks that stuff it’s like specialty, so keep that in mind as well.

I like the taste. It's a midday morning tea for me. Pricing, and size, is just what I was going for.

First and foremost this taste horrible. The company is good but the plant taste horrible. I will probably just get a pill when needed. But the tea taste was to harsh to get through a cup of tea…. Even mixed with other teas and a lot of honey… Honey helps if you use alot.

There was nothing wrong with this product other than it was not for me. I didn’t appreciate how earthy the flavor was and went with something more to my palette

Calming effect. Great for sleep or just a rainy sleepy afternoon. Also take the capsules. The taste was easy to get used to. The quality of this brand is very good. I recommend this tea.

Sooo goood!

I didn't like the smell or taste of the tea. It smells like burning wood and isn't worth the price at all. The flavor was equally disappointing. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this tea to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing tea experience.

I felt good after drinking it. That afternoon slump was gone. Am still enjoying it. Will defo reorder.
