Cute. Made of cast iron. Some assembly required, but not difficult. It holds 12 fresh eggs without concern of falling over. The egg holder holds larger eggs and smaller bantam eggs well. My wife is very picky about these type of gifts and she really loved it. I think that any chicken lover will like this...
