Mustela Baby Cradle Cap Cream - Newborn safe - with Natural Avocado - Paraben Free & Fragrance Free - 1.35 Fluid Ounce

I was looking for something to help my daughter’s face and body primarily, so I wanted to include pictures in case it is helpful to others in our situation. I rated this product a five because I think it would show the greatest benefit to an infant with mild cradle cap and does soothe and reduce redness, even in severe cases like with my daughter. However I’m not seeing a dramatic difference in use to reduce or remove it. It does seem to be helping with the redness over time. I included pictures of the first 4 days of use (clockwise starting from top left). I do think it helps soothe her skin too so I’ll keep trying until it clears on it’s own. It looks so amazing about 30 minutes after application. By the morning the dryness and scaling returns, so it would be good to adjust to apply in the daytime vs the night for an event or photos. Other reviewers have noted that it smells bad. It has a smell, but I wouldn’t classify it as bad or awful—just like you imagine an unfragranced lotion would smell. Hope this helps anyone looking for something for their baby’s face or body!

Only needed to apply twice to eliminate cradle cap

My baby had baby acne and cradle cap so bad he looked like a flaky little croissant. The pediatrician recommended this, and I thought, “This tiny tube costs HOW much?!” But I gave in.Acne cleared in 2 days, cradle cap in 4–5. Boom. Worth it.It says fragrance-free, but there’s a weird avocado-ish smell. Not awful, just… interesting.Now I want to try more Mustela stuff—but wow, my baby’s glowing and my wallet’s hurting.

My girl had cradle cap pretty bad so i decided to try this product out and it’s life changing!!! After 2 uses her little scalp was flake and itch free! Her little scalp feels nice and hydrated, not to mention how soft it leaves her hair! If you’re tired of your little one having am itchy flaky scalp definitely buy this! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it’s on the small side and it smells but not too bad.

This cream goes on pretty smoothly. My little one has a bit of hair but it still went to her scalp pretty well. And it didnt cause any irritation as an eczema reaction was something we looked out for but never came.After a few uses of this and other Mustella cradle cap products I'm happy to say that her cradle cap is almost completely gone. A small amount before bath or overnight helped tremendously. Wish I had found this with my first!

Definitely helps get the cradle capLoose. Pleasant smell easy to use and easy to wash out.
