Exactly what I wanted
Exactly what I wanted, but also order a smaller one because 2 of these won't fit well in a 12" cast iron. This product is nicely made, great quality, and I'm very happy with it. A+.

These are made of cast iron with wooden handles
The media could not be loaded. These weights are good for searing meat or whatever and will cook deeper with less time. Although they have some weight to them, I would prefer if they were heavier. This may or may not be beneficial, depending on your cooking situation or circumstance. It is still a plus while your objective is to cook at an excellerated rate.

Durable
I have 3 of these steak weights and they have worked well. It's not to heavy that it smashes the juice out the meat. It's not to lite to keep the meat from curling up. Has a wide surface are and the handle does not get to hot to pick it up and move it around. They have not rusted. I hand wash them and dry them off immediately. Very good product.

Nice heavy iron.
This is 8 full inches long, so it is too long for an 8 inch skillet. It fits into my 12 inch cast iron skillet well. It is heavy enough to work well. The handle is screwed on, and is wooden, so I hope it does not get loose. So far I am pleased.

Nice heavy press for burgers and bacon
I got this for making smash burgers and for keeping bacon from curling and the weight is great. You’ll need a 12 inch skillet or a griddle to use this press without hitting the sides. Of course you have to season and take care of it like my other cast iron cookware to prevent it from rusting. The only thing I’d change about it is to make the corners more round instead of sharp angles.

Not heavy enough
Lighter than I expected. But it does the job, make sure you have a griddle or 14” pan. As it’s plenty wide just pretty lightweight for thick steaks you need to seer.
