HUEWomen's Opaque Control Top Tight

These look great and hold up very well. Great control top, not too tight, or loose. They don't pick up lint, which I find can be a problem with other tights that I've purchased in the past. They are a must-have for the winter season.

I'm 5'5", 180 lbs with a (realatively) small waist and big butt. My legs are thin in proportion and short. These tights fit me perfectly. I often have problems with tights slipping down off my waist, especially as the day goes on and they stretch out. Sometimes tights in larger sizes aren't big enough in the rear end and are too long in the legs for me. I have had none of those problems with these. The waist fits well and stays in place. The legs were just the right length. I have worn them on 3 different special occasions and a few times just around town. They have performed well, as have other Hue tights I own. They are dark enough to cover the imperfections in my legs, but not so opaque that my legs look like solid brown columns. They kept my legs warm at my daughter's rather chilly outside wedding celebration in NY and are OK for our warmer NC fall weather too. I expect to wear them all winter here in NC. However, they might be too thin to keep you warm outside in colder places. My hubby threw one pair in the washer and dryer - not even in the mesh bag I'd usually wash them in, (sigh) but they were fine! Not the way I'd treat them normally; since dryers tend to ruin the elastic in almost anything, I hang my tights dry. I think they are a good value for the money. Not only do I highly recommend these, I'm buying a couple more pairs in black.

These are incredible - they last FOREVER. They are soft and wonderfully breathable. one pair usually lasts a year. towards the end of the winter/spring I check the heels - the ones that are showing shoe nubby pulls, I will cut the legs off a little above the knee. I then have a control top that I can use for the summer and have bare, cool legs - this is great - no runs, no frays, no roll up. Did I say amazing. For care - throw them in the washing machine, gentle cycle, then to the dryer or air dry - even the half legs pairs. life is so much simplier. Sometimes I like a more sheer hose but that was mostly in the summer and now with the half leg hose - good to go!!!

I got these for my daughter for Christmas. She is 6 feet tall and about 250 pounds. She says they are comfortable and durable. Not as durable as spanks but not as expensive either.

I buy these for ballet class. They are perfect, and I’ve purchased several pair over the years. I like them footless, so I modify by cutting the feet out. They are somewhat compression if you buy a size smaller than what you normally wear. I like them snug, and they stay in place during class. Thank you for supplying these.

I gained weight - ouch! None of my old tights fit, and, even though I'm able to walk again, and hope to work it off, I need something NOW. So, I ordered size...well, another size. And they fit! Just: I AM right on the edge... They'll do quite nicely right now, and I trust that in another month they'll be REALLY comfortable. And maybe in six months I can go back to my old size...They are well made, long lasting, and I can throw them into the wash with my clothes (nothing has a zipper) and machine cycle on hand wash. They go in the dryer on low, with a softener sheet.

These are my favorite brand and anytime I try a new one, I'm never as satisfied as with HUE. They are the perfect fit for me considering how tough it is to find tights that are comfortable on a large lower body. I have very thick thighs and hips and I'm also tall. The size 4 is perfect for me. They last through several washes and have even withstood my dog's nails when she jumps on my legs to say hi. Truly my favorite brand of tights.

The inseam is way too low for anyone taller than 6 feet. Lovely tights otherwise.

Fairly opaque, fit true to size for me (I purchased size 1); not too much stretch, not too little. Most opaque tights have limited stretch (in order to stay opaque), so if you are close between two sizes, buy the larger. The control top is comfortable and the waistband doesn't roll when I wear them. The tights have a low rise, which I like but may not be to everyone's preference. I purchased the espresso brown and found the colour to be accurately described. Although the description says they can be tumble-dried, I always hang dry my tights for longevity so I don't know how they hold up to the dryer. In general stretchy materials are usually best kept out of the clothes dryer because the heat breaks them down (the same reason it is not recommended to put bras in the dryer). In reading other reviews it seems some people have had quality issues, but I can only speak for my experience and I am very satisfied with them. I have noticed a lot of the negative reviews were from a few years ago, so perhaps the manufacturer has rectified those issues, or perhaps it is hit or miss, or even due to putting them in the clothes dryer.

I have purchased this brand at a retail outlet in the past in the same size and make. These for some reason fit smaller, whereas the ones I bought at retail were a bit bigger. Not sure what the issue is, but still wearable.
