Modiphius Fallout: Wasteland Warfare - Assaultrons & Protectrons

I originally bought this strictly as a present for a friend who is a mutual friend of the Fallout series. The models and bases are incredibly high quality. Until this set I have never painted any miniatures outside of 35mm tank sets as a kid. Although the price is more than the average say Warhammer set, if you are a fallout fan and considering starting miniatures, this and other Modiphius sets are well worth the price tag!

These come lightly packaged with five minis to assemble. Very little flashing or seems. Does have very small parts which are fragile. Full of tiny details that can be ruined quickly by too much glue during assembly. Only frustration is that these resist paint in a strange way. Even after soaking in warm soapy water and gently brushed, rinsed, and dried. Ensure you use a good thin primer and light airbrush coats are best.

Great product as well, I love the robots they look amazing specially, especially the one from Lost in space, Danger Will Robinson Danger!!!!...the protectron. Great stuff, great.

Very disappointed that nowhere on the description or in photos does it say anything about them being unpainted or not assembled.

The assaultrons were a little fiddly to assemble, but the protectrons were an absolute blast! Favorite robots in science fiction, easy to assemble, just as easy to paint. Only wish there were more than just the two protectrons.
