If Ivory soap producers made a seasonal summer scent
I was really excited to try this fragrance based on the product description and reviews. The item I received smells like a bright, more summery version of Ivory-like soap. Bleh! Very cheaply soapy. No coconut, frangi pani, star anise or watermelon detected in the bottle I received. In this instance, it’s a good thing in this case this product doesn’t linger or last very long as I did not want to smell Ivory on me all day. COMPLETE waste of $$. And neither friends or family like the scent either. I can’t even find someone to give it to. Maybe I got a bad bottle.

Fresh and Delightful
This is the first 4711 that I've tried, I saw a review by The Perfume Guy on YouTube so I had to try it. It's soft and a bit powdery, very delicious, I love it, great for every day.

4711 is diluting and deluding its fans
I wasn't able to buy the sample set so I purchased full bottle of Zanzibar whatever it is. One whiff and slight dab got me thinking to whom I could gift it this Xmas. To get rid of. Powdery annoying stench I had to wipe off with rubbing alcohol. I keep saying simple pure 4711 original is the way ago but seem to keep my hopes up that something new will rank up there. I'm still looking.

This is a warm scent. Hints of sandalwood.

If you enjoy crisp, clean, beach-like aromas, this is a fantastic cologne with a lasting nature. Great for all-day wear. But light and not "in your face". This was a great transition from the OG 4711 for a more lasting fragrance.
