Great company to work with
The chair arrived in a box that had been abused, opened, and closed up again. Nothing looked damaged at first glance. But the rails holding the tub were cracked and the horizontal bar at the bottom of the front of the chair had a 3" dark scrape on it, which turned out to be a crack. The cracked rails were not evident until the tub was inserted, at which time the plastic cracks opened up. That box must have been really abused! BUT the chair is wonderful. The padded seat is comfortable. The folding arms work well. The wheels in this Deluxe version are excellent on hardwood floors. The whole chair is great. Using a liner bag in the tub makes cleanup easy. Putting the chair together is simple (except for finding the drill to make holes to secure the wheels for safety). The commitment of the company to customer satisfaction and safety is outstanding.

Excellent chair. Glad I got it.
This chair is excellent and it delivers what it promises. I am not the person who uses it but I am the one who maneuvers it and I can tell that it is sturdy and easy to maneuver. The casters are great and roll extremely well on vinyl, tile and carpet. Casters are so good that the brakes are needed to secure it when user is idle. The rectangular pail is a upgrade to what I had before since it covers the whole area under the seat avoiding any floor or carpet messes; it easily slides guided by a couple of rails. Great improvement when compared to a round pail. The feet rest is a great addition that releases the user's leg stress by keeping the legs in one place and away from the floor. I bought this chair recently and I am very happy with it. If I had to add something to it, I would make the seat at least 2 inches deeper. I will review it again after several months of use. I just hope the seat does not bend on the sides as it happened to the previous chair I bought from a different merchant.

Absolutely Wonderful
I bought this chair for my husband in a nursing home and it's wonderful. It works perfect and it has helped so much with his toileting and showering. I didn't give this five stars for only one reason --- the blue mesh that is around the chair as the backing - is starting to split and I will have to buy new mesh - this occurs because as he is lifted down onto the chair, his weight (He's only 145 mind you) pushes back on it and doing this 3x a day minimum is making the threading start to show. Other than that I am so pleased with this chair I cannot even tell you.

The Best Shower Chair On The Market
My mother was in a skilled nursing facility and this was the type of shower chair they used. When my mother came home I purchased this shower chair and threw out her old shower bench. This shower chair has been a game changer for her. She’s able to be wheeled out of the shower into her bedroom to get dressed right in the chair. After she’s finished the transfer to her wheelchair is seamless. This was the best purchase we have ever made to make her life much easier when taking a shower.

Investment but worth it.
Super sturdy and relatively comfortable shower chair/bedside commode. I broke my femur so this came in handy. Other chairs were hard and not as versatile. This one did the trick. You can take out the bucket whilst sitting on it, which doesn’t happen with other chairs. This is good to reduce patient handling. Pricey, but if you need one long term it is the way to go because it is sturdy.

Built incorrectly
This is the second time we’ve ordered this chair. Both times the back of the chair will not go into the lower portion of the chair. Find a different supplier

Great except seat causes abrasions for people with thin skin.
Exactly what I was looking for my elderly Mom (94, weighs 105 lbs.) except for our experience with the padded seat. The padding around the interior edges of the seat quickly compress such that the sharp edges of the plastic seat pan, located below the padding, starts to become a problem. In short, the padding loses it's effectiveness. At that point, when seated, my Mom's skin rubs against the hard plastic causing skin abrasions. I bought a seat replacement thinking the original had worn but the replacement had the same problem. The padding quickly compresses reducing its effectiveness. I had to add padding to the seat to help reduce the abrasion problem. NOTE to designers. From my perspective the interior edges of the plastic seat pan should be rounded, not squared. The latter leads to sharp edges/contact points and also accelerates the compression of the padding. Additionally, the padding should wrap around the interior seat pan edges.

Glad to have it
I have used this for my 240 pound husband for his showers & as a bedside commode as needed. I'm grateful to have it available for use. It was easy to assemble & is convenient & easy to clean. I have not had to remove the arms but am pleased with the versatility of the product.
