Kingsdown Passions Aspiration 14" Firm Hybrid Mattress, King, Tan

I ordered this California King mattress and box spring after a recommendation from a friend who manages a B&B. I was leery of buying a mattress without testing it, but decided to take the leap on her very knowledgeable recommendation, since she has them in her B&B. The set is great. Both my wife and I are very happy. It is firm but soft, and is built very well. This is much better than the last, major-brand mattress we bought a little over a year ago, and maybe 10%-15% less expensive! A very good bargain for a well-built mattress that is perfect for our needs. We are very happy.

This bed was everything I had hoped for. Even though it is very firm, the layer of foam on the top makes it so comfortable to lay down in. I was a little weary of blindly ordering a mattress from Amazon, but it was definitely worth it. I'm very satisfied with this bed. The shipping with NSD was terrible though. They blame their integration with Amazon as the problem, but essentially do not rely on their delivery date. Apparently all you are doing is reserving when Amazon will deliver it to NSD, and then they will just randomly schedule your delivery within 4-5 days after that date and do not let you schedule anything with them until a few days after receiving it. You've been warned...

Mattress had a shoe print on it and box spring damaged on one corner , to much trouble to send back.

I'm on day 4 of using this mattress . I wake up everyday sore and with a headache. If you like a very very firm matrress than this is for you. ( I like firm but this is like a rock) That said - the quality of this mattress is amazing. Its made very well and sleeps cool . I bought a pillow topper that will arrive soon so hopefully that'll do the trick..

I suffer from sciatica in my lower back.I purchased my mattress eight months ago,and i have (NO REGRETS) so far. EVERY day i get up my back feels better, and as a result I'm sleeping ALL NIGHT , " REALY ". I just purchased a king size for my 81 year mother "not old", who is loosing sleep because of back pain. I have no doubt this mattress will solve that problem,instead i will probably play HELL getting her out of it. In addition to the comfort ,when you get up it "RETURNS" to shape!!!! What a concept , maybe the other companies should take notes!!

This is supposed to be a firm mattress but it is already sagging after a year of use.

We love this bed - we tried it in a store and were going to buy it but happened to see it online for less than half the price. A great night sleep.It is firm but not uncomfortably so and seems to be of great quality. We are moving to this mattress from a memory foam one. Wow, what a noticeable difference. You can sit on the edge with support (instead of sinking into the edge on a memory foam mattress), and I have been waking up free of back pain which hasn't been the case for a while.

Going from a latex foam mattress, I was a little shocked at the firmness but have adjusted and now love it. The only slight issue is the bed moves a little when my husband turns over. It's not terrible but something I am not used to.
