Durable, easy to assemble and transport
My 14 year old son was very happy to receive this goal for his birthday. It's perfect for the backyard or garage, and it was very simple to assemble. Given how quickly it is to snap into place, this goal will be easy to transport to a tailgate. Unlike other goals we have purchased, the net is high quality and the pvc pipes supporting the frame fit smoothly. Reasonable price for the quality and we'll likely purchase this as a gift for other friends.

45?!
How can some PVC piping and a net cost $45!? But, we still bought it cause we needed a net for my son’s new hockey obsession he has begun after watching the “Mighty Ducks” movies. It was a small compromise to him wanting all the full on hockey gear to play on ice. I didn’t want to crush his new dream and tell him we live 35 minutes from the nearest ice rink and there’s now way I’m paying for him to play ice hockey. So, instead we have fun chasing street hockey balls around the asphalt driveway. Actually, he’s pretty good. Me, not so much. But I digress. This net seems well enough made. Just piping that interlocks with the next piece. Still not sure why nets are so expensive.

Great gift!
I got this for my husband to use for pond hockey. It is a great gift! It was easy to put together and is good quality and is lightweight. It was very easy to transport and store. Wound be great for kids, but also a nice practice net for adults.

Good option if you can get it for cheap
PVC is cut to length perfectly, so in theory you could make your own, but how would you make the net? I get the comments that people complain it's just PVC but I'd say what you are really paying for is the net. When assembled it looks fine. The front posts and crossbar are colored red. The base is white. When assembling you should be putting on the net as you go or else you'll have to take it apart. It's very lightweight so you'll likely need a sandbag to put on the back to keep in place. The net is really tight in some places to stretch over the PVC tubes. It took longer than I thought to assemble but once done, it works. If kids are dragging this thing all around there's a chance it could disconnect in places, but overall it's pretty sturdy. Just make sure all connections are solid.I wouldn't recommend real pucks on this, only use the hollow street pucks made of flexible plastic/rubber.
